You can start the customization process by visiting our Bellevue, WA or Seattle, WA showroom in person, or you can reach out through our website. We’ll take all of the information you give us about your tastes and style preferences, and we’ll use that to develop an original design for you in CAD.
Two-tone Band Design
The main body of this ring is made from black tungsten. It’s 8mm wide, and it’s polished to show off its beautiful, rich color. Tungsten is harder than gold, allowing it to stand up well to the hazards of everyday wear. It’s also hypoallergenic, which makes it a good choice if skin sensitivities are an issue for you.
The top surface of the ring is dominated by a 14k white gold inlay. This inlay is highest in the center, with lower rails on either side. Outside of these rails, the edges of the tungsten band rise up, framing the white gold nicely and creating a striking two-tone effect. Further amplifying this is the use of contrasting finishes on the two sections of the ring, as the center white gold section is brushed, while the tungsten is polished. Men’s Wedding Rings Seattle

A full-size wax model can be made to review scale, shape and proportions before production. It can be viewed in a showroom or shipped to you.
Approval and production
The design is approved before production begins. Your designer confirms the schedule, and our jewelers make, set and finish the piece.
Quality
Our custom jewelry follows design and construction standards for metal thickness, weight, stone support and setting security.
- Structure and support
- The setting must have enough metal to support the stones and hold its shape through everyday wear. If an area needs more support, we address it before production.
- Diamond and gemstone selection
- We help you choose stones for your custom design, reviewing cut, color, clarity, consistency and fit. Your budget guides these choices; our standards for materials and craftsmanship remain the same.
- Final inspection
- Before completion, we review each custom piece for proportion, comfort, stone security and finish.

For Joseph Jewelry custom pieces, coverage begins with your signature. To keep it active, Joseph Jewelry must inspect and sign for your piece every six months and perform recommended repairs and maintenance.
Repairs due to normal wear and tear are the owner's responsibility. Damage, abuse or alterations can void coverage. Customers outside Washington pay shipping both ways for inspections or repairs, plus applicable duty or customs fees.
