Iolite Center
The centerpiece of this pendant is a 0.75 carat round iolite with a deep reddish purple color. The four prongs holding it in place meet it at the compass positions, and this placement seems to flow smoothly from the swirling pattern on the body of the pendant to give the piece a fluid dynamism.
Diamond and Milgrain Accents
Just below the center iolite, the surface of the pendant is covered with a lovely pattern of milgrain beading, and bright cut set diamonds are integrated smoothly across the design. The diamonds bring a brilliant white sparkle that contrasts nicely with the rich color of the center stone, while their relatively small size keeps them from dominating the piece. Pendants
The swirling design that the milgrain outlines adds an elegant, vintage-inspired feel to the piece as well to go along with the glamorous flair of the diamonds. A single diamond is also bezel set just above the main body of the pendant, and the open bale, which forms a marquise shape, is lined with split prong set diamond accents. All together, there are 37 diamonds in this pendant, and they combine to total 0.22 carats.
Pendant Design and Filigree
The basket enclosing the back of the pendant is made up of a lovely filigree in the shape of infinity symbols that repeat all the way around the sides of the piece. This ties in nicely with the milgrain pattern on top, and it further enhances the vintage feel of the piece as well. This type of metalwork detailing is completed by hand by our expert artisans, and that means we can customize it a great deal to integrate a pattern or symbol with special meaning for you.

Physical model
A full-size wax model can be made to review scale, shape and proportions before production. It can be viewed in a showroom or shipped to you.
Approval and production
The design is approved before production begins. Your designer confirms the schedule, and our jewelers make, set and finish the piece.
Quality
Our custom jewelry follows design and construction standards for metal thickness, weight, stone support and setting security.

- The setting must have enough metal to support the stones and hold its shape through everyday wear. If an area needs more support, we address it before production.
- Diamond and gemstone selection
- We help you choose stones for your custom design, reviewing cut, color, clarity, consistency and fit. Your budget guides these choices; our standards for materials and craftsmanship remain the same.
- Final inspection
- Before completion, we review each custom piece for proportion, comfort, stone security and finish.

Coverage conditions
For Joseph Jewelry custom pieces, coverage begins with your signature. To keep it active, Joseph Jewelry must inspect and sign for your piece every six months and perform recommended repairs and maintenance.
Repairs due to normal wear and tear are the owner's responsibility. Damage, abuse or alterations can void coverage. Customers outside Washington pay shipping both ways for inspections or repairs, plus applicable duty or customs fees.
