Amethyst Center and Diamond Halo
The main feature of the body of this pendant is a 3.2 carat oval bezel set amethyst. The rich purple of the stone contrasts beautifully with the diamonds surrounding it which gives it a vintage theme that is further magnified by the scalloped design of the halo. Pendants
This halo is composed of an undulating line of small round diamonds that create a scalloped pattern around the larger stone. The elegant curves of the halo add a decorative and intricate layer to the design while still providing that ring of brilliant white sparkle that makes the halo style such a popular choice.
Milgrain Beading and Pendant Design
The center amethyst is surrounded by a double ring of milgrain beading that lines the rim of the bezel setting holding it in place. This contributes to the vintage aesthetic also, and it ties in nicely with the milgrain lining the diamonds at the top of the pendant that facilitates the transition to the bale.

After you accept the estimate and make a down payment, we create a 3D CAD model and rendered views. Revisions within the initial design parameters are included; changes to materials or their amounts are re-estimated.
Physical model
A full-size wax model can be made to review scale, shape and proportions before production. It can be viewed in a showroom or shipped to you.
Approval and production
The design is approved before production begins. Your designer confirms the schedule, and our jewelers make, set and finish the piece.
Quality
Our custom jewelry follows design and construction standards for metal thickness, weight, stone support and setting security.
- Structure and support
- The setting must have enough metal to support the stones and hold its shape through everyday wear. If an area needs more support, we address it before production.
- Diamond and gemstone selection
- We help you choose stones for your custom design, reviewing cut, color, clarity, consistency and fit. Your budget guides these choices; our standards for materials and craftsmanship remain the same.
- Final inspection
- Before completion, we review each custom piece for proportion, comfort, stone security and finish.

Coverage conditions
For Joseph Jewelry custom pieces, coverage begins with your signature. To keep it active, Joseph Jewelry must inspect and sign for your piece every six months and perform recommended repairs and maintenance.
Repairs due to normal wear and tear are the owner's responsibility. Damage, abuse or alterations can void coverage. Customers outside Washington pay shipping both ways for inspections or repairs, plus applicable duty or customs fees.
