Description
This beautiful pendant features a single round white pearl at the bottom accented by diamonds and milgrain detailing. It was made for a client from Sammamish, WA, who came to us with a fully-formed idea of what he wanted us to create. We made sure every detail was exactly as he envisioned it, and then we built this beautiful piece, which he was completely satisfied with.

Pearl Anchor
Pearls represent wisdom, integrity, and purity, and they’re also associated with strong relationships. The pearl in this particular piece measures 8mm in diameter, with a beautiful white color and smooth round shape. Its size and weight make it the perfect anchor for this lovely pendant.
Diamonds and Milgrain
Just above the pearl is a single round brilliant cut diamond in a bezel setting lined with milgrain. This frames the diamond nicely, and the milgrain helps to intensify its sparkle. And above that is another pocket of diamonds, this one containing two bright cut set diamonds and also lined with milgrain.
The brilliance of the diamonds offers a nice contrast to the soft shine of the pearl at the bottom, and it lets them stand out just enough from the polished metal that makes up the body of the pendant.

Design and estimate

3D design review
After you accept the estimate and make a down payment, we create a 3D CAD model and rendered views. Revisions within the initial design parameters are included; changes to materials or their amounts are re-estimated.
Physical model
A full-size wax model can be made to review scale, shape and proportions before production. It can be viewed in a showroom or shipped to you.
Approval and production
The design is approved before production begins. Your designer confirms the schedule, and our jewelers make, set and finish the piece.
Quality
Our custom jewelry follows design and construction standards for metal thickness, weight, stone support and setting security.
- Structure and support
- The setting must have enough metal to support the stones and hold its shape through everyday wear. If an area needs more support, we address it before production.
- Diamond and gemstone selection
- We help you choose stones for your custom design, reviewing cut, color, clarity, consistency and fit. Your budget guides these choices; our standards for materials and craftsmanship remain the same.
- Final inspection
- Before completion, we review each custom piece for proportion, comfort, stone security and finish.

Coverage conditions
For Joseph Jewelry custom pieces, coverage begins with your signature. To keep it active, Joseph Jewelry must inspect and sign for your piece every six months and perform recommended repairs and maintenance.
Repairs due to normal wear and tear are the owner's responsibility. Damage, abuse or alterations can void coverage. Customers outside Washington pay shipping both ways for inspections or repairs, plus applicable duty or customs fees.
