Center Diamond and Halo
This pendant centers on the stunning 0.91 carat round brilliant cut diamond at the top, which is prong set in 14k white gold. The prongs are oriented with one on each side and one each at the top and bottom, and these are the spots where the corners of the squared halo surrounding the center setting form as well.
The halo itself is made of two rows of pave-set diamonds, and these slant backward at the same angle as the curve of the main diamond to give the piece smooth lines and a nice balance. The halo is also lined with milgrain beading, as are the four tapered round bright cut set diamonds on the bale.
Customization Options
All of these features taken together give the piece a classy and timeless look with a hint of vintage flair. However, there are many ways you could customize this design to make it better reflect your unique tastes. For instance, you may want to use a colored sapphire for the center stone to introduce some contrast and integrate a favorite or significant color.
Alternately, you could switch to a colored metal like rose or yellow gold, both of which would help highlight the brilliant white of the diamonds while also reinforcing the vintage themes of the piece.

Customize
Use this design as a starting point for a custom piece.
Discuss the stones, metal, proportions, setting and finish with a designer, online or in our Seattle and Bellevue showrooms. You can bring reference photographs or your own stone for us to assess.
Design and estimate
The initial design and estimate are free, with no obligation. Your designer discusses the materials, changes and budget with you before you commit.
3D design review
After you accept the estimate and make a down payment, we create a 3D CAD model and rendered views. Revisions within the initial design parameters are included; changes to materials or their amounts are re-estimated.
Physical model
A full-size wax model can be made to review scale, shape and proportions before production. It can be viewed in a showroom or shipped to you.
Approval and production
The design is approved before production begins. Your designer confirms the schedule, and our jewelers make, set and finish the piece.
Quality
Our custom jewelry follows design and construction standards for metal thickness, weight, stone support and setting security.
- Structure and support
- The setting must have enough metal to support the stones and hold its shape through everyday wear. If an area needs more support, we address it before production.
- Diamond and gemstone selection
- We help you choose stones for your custom design, reviewing cut, color, clarity, consistency and fit. Your budget guides these choices; our standards for materials and craftsmanship remain the same.
- Final inspection
- Before completion, we review each custom piece for proportion, comfort, stone security and finish.
