Ruby Cluster

In the center of this piece, nine round rubies are cluster prong set. Four of these stones are larger, and they form the corners of the cushion shaped cluster, with four of the smaller rubies filling in the space between them on the side. The fifth small ruby is nestled in the center, and this arrangement makes it appear as though the cluster is actually one large cushion shaped stone. All of the rubies in this pendant combined total 0.40 carats.

Diamond Halo and Accents

Surrounding the center cluster is a halo of small round diamonds that are all split prong set. These add a dazzling and glamorous sparkle to the piece, and they intensify the contrast between the rubies and the rest of the design. The halo follows the contours of the center cluster, giving the pendant body an overall cushion shape. Pendants

The pendant is oriented to hang with its corners at the compass positions, and the bale attaches directly above the top corner. Split prong set diamonds line the front of the bale as well, and this detail adds to the glamorous flair and delicate aesthetic of the piece as a whole. 100% Satisfaction

Customization Options

To customize a piece like this, you may want to begin by choosing a different type of gemstones for the center. You could also experiment with different arrangements of the stones to give the body of the pendant a different shape. Changing the setting style of the accent diamonds and those in the halo is worth considering as well, as is switching to a different type of metal to introduce another layer of contrast to the design.

Customize

Use this design as a starting point for a custom piece.

Discuss the stones, metal, proportions, setting and finish with a designer, online or in our Seattle and Bellevue showrooms. You can bring reference photographs or your own stone for us to assess.

  1. Design and estimate

The initial design and estimate are free, with no obligation. Your designer discusses the materials, changes and budget with you before you commit.

  2. 3D design review

After you accept the estimate and make a down payment, we create a 3D CAD model and rendered views. Revisions within the initial design parameters are included; changes to materials or their amounts are re-estimated.

  3. Physical model

A full-size wax model can be made to review scale, shape and proportions before production. It can be viewed in a showroom or shipped to you.

  4. Approval and production

The design is approved before production begins. Your designer confirms the schedule, and our jewelers make, set and finish the piece.

Quality

Our custom jewelry follows design and construction standards for metal thickness, weight, stone support and setting security.

Structure and support
The setting must have enough metal to support the stones and hold its shape through everyday wear. If an area needs more support, we address it before production.
Diamond and gemstone selection
We help you choose stones for your custom design, reviewing cut, color, clarity, consistency and fit. Your budget guides these choices; our standards for materials and craftsmanship remain the same.
Final inspection
Before completion, we review each custom piece for proportion, comfort, stone security and finish.
