Blue Topaz and Diamonds
The largest stone in this piece is a 1.10 carat blue topaz cut into an elongated pear shape. It's bezel set and it's oriented to hang with its rounded end down, a position that highlights its clean, elegant lines. The bezel setting frames the stone beautifully, and it adds to the contemporary feel of the piece overall.
Above the topaz, three small round diamonds are each bezel set and they are arranged in a line rising from the tip of the larger stone below. The brilliant white sparkle of the diamonds provides a nice counterpoint to the rich blue of the topaz, and their perfectly circular shape adds to this contrasting relationship as well. Pendants

After you accept the estimate and make a down payment, we create a 3D CAD model and rendered views. Revisions within the initial design parameters are included; changes to materials or their amounts are re-estimated.
Physical model
A full-size wax model can be made to review scale, shape and proportions before production. It can be viewed in a showroom or shipped to you.
Approval and production
The design is approved before production begins. Your designer confirms the schedule, and our jewelers make, set and finish the piece.
Quality
Our custom jewelry follows design and construction standards for metal thickness, weight, stone support and setting security.
- Structure and support
- The setting must have enough metal to support the stones and hold its shape through everyday wear. If an area needs more support, we address it before production.
- Diamond and gemstone selection
- We help you choose stones for your custom design, reviewing cut, color, clarity, consistency and fit. Your budget guides these choices; our standards for materials and craftsmanship remain the same.
- Final inspection
- Before completion, we review each custom piece for proportion, comfort, stone security and finish.

Coverage conditions
For Joseph Jewelry custom pieces, coverage begins with your signature. To keep it active, Joseph Jewelry must inspect and sign for your piece every six months and perform recommended repairs and maintenance.
Repairs due to normal wear and tear are the owner's responsibility. Damage, abuse or alterations can void coverage. Customers outside Washington pay shipping both ways for inspections or repairs, plus applicable duty or customs fees.
