Aquamarine and Diamonds
The largest stone in this pendant is a 0.90 carat aquamarine cut in an elongated pear shape that makes it seem almost like a raindrop caught and frozen in midair.
Above the aquamarine, three round diamonds are bezel set in a vertical line that leads right up to the polished bale. These three together total 0.06 carats, but despite their small size, they add a truly glamorous sparkle to the piece and provide a nice counterpoint to the larger stone below.
Customization Options
If you're interested in customizing this design, you may want to start by choosing a different combination of gemstones. For instance, you could pick your birthstone or that of a loved one to replace the aquamarine, and you may want to switch to a different type of metal as well depending on the type of color contrast you're interested in creating. Rose and yellow gold are both excellent options, and they add some more classical flavor to the design as well.
Some other adjustments to consider involve using a different cut for the accent diamonds or changing their layout. For instance, you may choose to cluster the three together in more of a triangular arrangement rather than having them all in a line, or you could switch to princess cut rather than round stones to add another layer of contrast to the piece.

Physical model
A full-size wax model can be made to review scale, shape and proportions before production. It can be viewed in a showroom or shipped to you.
Approval and production
The design is approved before production begins. Your designer confirms the schedule, and our jewelers make, set and finish the piece.
Quality
Our custom jewelry follows design and construction standards for metal thickness, weight, stone support and setting security.
- Structure and support
- The setting must have enough metal to support the stones and hold its shape through everyday wear. If an area needs more support, we address it before production.
- Diamond and gemstone selection
- We help you choose stones for your custom design, reviewing cut, color, clarity, consistency and fit. Your budget guides these choices; our standards for materials and craftsmanship remain the same.
- Final inspection
- Before completion, we review each custom piece for proportion, comfort, stone security and finish.

Coverage conditions
For Joseph Jewelry custom pieces, coverage begins with your signature. To keep it active, Joseph Jewelry must inspect and sign for your piece every six months and perform recommended repairs and maintenance.
Repairs due to normal wear and tear are the owner's responsibility. Damage, abuse or alterations can void coverage. Customers outside Washington pay shipping both ways for inspections or repairs, plus applicable duty or customs fees.
