Aquamarine Center and Stylized Halo
The centerpiece of this design is a 1.80 carat round aquamarine. The four prongs holding it in place sit at the compass positions, adding a sense of dynamic movement to the design, and the contrast between the silvery shine of the metal and the delicate blue of the aquamarine helps highlight the beauty of the stone.
Surrounding the aquamarine is a halo made up of 12 small round diamonds, each of which are bright cut set within their own marquise-shaped section. These sections are lined up point to point around the aquamarine, giving the body of the pendant a scalloped margin and producing a vaguely floral effect along with a hint of vintage flair. Pendants
Pendant Design and Filigree
A thirteenth diamond accent sits in a separate marquise shaped section directly above the top of the pendant body and at the base of the bale. This creates a connection to the lower portion of the piece, and it adds a touch of glamorous flair as well.
The back of the pendant body is enclosed in a basket made up of swirling scroll filigree, which adds to the vintage overtones of the design.
