Aquamarine Center and Diamond Halo
The design of this pendant is built around a pear shaped aquamarine with a delicate blue-green color. The stone is 1.20 carats, an it’s cradled securely by three prongs that position it with its single corner pointing directly upwards towards the bale. The rounded bottom portion of the stone brings a satisfying weight and balance to the lower portion of the design, and the elegant shape of the aquamarine is highlighted by the contoured halo that surrounds it.
This halo is made up of small white diamonds, all of which are bright cut set. They bring a glamorous sparkle to the design, and they also reflect light up onto the larger stone from below, helping to increase its brilliance. The diamonds in the halo are separated into groups by lines of milgrain beading that run through them, giving the design a more intricate and elegant look as well. Pendants
Diamond and Filigree Accents
The bale is lined with split prong set diamonds that run in a row straight up from the point of the top of the halo. A single loop of metal joins the main body of the pendant to the bale, and this eliminates any visual distraction that might be caused by a transition from one part of the piece to another.
Behind the halo, a custom filigree basket with a scroll-style design encloses and protects the back of the center stone. This ties in nicely with the milgrain design in the halo to add another layer to the subtle complexity of the design.

After you accept the estimate and make a down payment, we create a 3D CAD model and rendered views. Revisions within the initial design parameters are included; changes to materials or their amounts are re-estimated.
Physical model
A full-size wax model can be made to review scale, shape and proportions before production. It can be viewed in a showroom or shipped to you.
Approval and production
The design is approved before production begins. Your designer confirms the schedule, and our jewelers make, set and finish the piece.
Quality
Our custom jewelry follows design and construction standards for metal thickness, weight, stone support and setting security.
- Structure and support
- The setting must have enough metal to support the stones and hold its shape through everyday wear. If an area needs more support, we address it before production.
- Diamond and gemstone selection
- We help you choose stones for your custom design, reviewing cut, color, clarity, consistency and fit. Your budget guides these choices; our standards for materials and craftsmanship remain the same.
- Final inspection
- Before completion, we review each custom piece for proportion, comfort, stone security and finish.

Coverage conditions
For Joseph Jewelry custom pieces, coverage begins with your signature. To keep it active, Joseph Jewelry must inspect and sign for your piece every six months and perform recommended repairs and maintenance.
Repairs due to normal wear and tear are the owner's responsibility. Damage, abuse or alterations can void coverage. Customers outside Washington pay shipping both ways for inspections or repairs, plus applicable duty or customs fees.
