Blue Sapphire And Diamond Pendant
Item #103660Pendant Description
If you’d like to learn more about the custom design process, you can visit our Bellevue, WA showroom in person, or you can reach out to our team through our website. We’ll put together a CAD model of your unique design that we can share with you through the online workroom we set up to manage your project, and we’ll only move your piece into production once you’ve given your explicit approval to these digital models.
Blue Sapphire Center and Diamond Halo
The centerpiece of this pendant is a 1.39 carat oval blue sapphire. The rich blue of the stone contrasts beautifully with the shine of the metal, as well as with the brilliant white sparkle of the diamonds in the surrounding halo. These diamonds are all bright cut set, and they’re grouped into sections defined by the lines of milgrain beading that arc through the halo, adding a healthy dose of vintage flair to the design. Diamond and Filigree Accents
Behind the body of the pendant, a basket composed of custom filigree balances out the design. The pattern of the filigree complements that of the milgrain in the halo as well, helping to tie the two sections together.
Above the halo, a bezel set diamond sits at the base of the bale, the two strands of which then extend upward in a marquise shape to join the chain. The front of this bale is lined with shared prong set diamonds, and these add their own lovely sparkle while also creating a link with the lower portions of the design.

Customizing This Design
Any Joseph Jewelry item can be customized or used as the starting point for a new custom design. The gemstones, metal, proportions, setting style, surface details, and overall profile can be adjusted to better match your preferences, style, and budget.
Every custom piece begins with a conversation about what you want to create and what matters most to you. You work one-on-one with a designer to refine the concept, review the design direction, and create a detailed 3D CAD image of the item before it is made.
After the design is approved, we can create a wax model so you can review the piece physically. This step helps you evaluate scale, proportions, shape, and overall presence before final production begins.
Once the wax model is approved, our jewelers craft the finished piece with attention to structure, finish, stone security, and long-term wear. Each adjustment is reviewed carefully so the final item feels intentional, balanced, and made specifically for you.
You do not need to have every detail figured out before starting. If you like this item but want to change the stone, metal, size, shape, width, engraving, or overall style, we can guide those decisions through the custom design process.
Quality & Craftsmanship
At Joseph Jewelry, quality begins with the structure. We follow strict design and construction standards for metal thickness, weight, stone support, setting security, and long-term durability. These details help ensure the item is substantial enough for everyday wear while still maintaining a refined appearance.
We do not design custom jewelry to be unnecessarily thin or fragile. If a setting, band, gallery, or accent detail needs more support, we address it before production begins. The goal is to protect the stones, preserve the shape of the ring, and create a piece that can be worn confidently over time.
Gemstone selection is also part of our quality process. We help choose the center stone, side stones, and melee diamonds used in each ring, reviewing them for cut, color, clarity, consistency, and how well they fit the design. Even when a ring is designed around a specific budget, we maintain careful standards for the materials and craftsmanship that determine the quality of the finished piece.
Before completion, each custom piece is reviewed for proportion, comfort, stone security, finishing, and long-term wear.
Care & Warranty
All Joseph Jewelry custom pieces are supported by our lifetime warranty. We also provide long-term care, including complimentary cleaning and regular inspection, so your jewelry can be maintained properly over time.
Routine inspection is especially valuable for pieces worn every day. It allows the setting, stones, and overall structure to be checked as the jewelry is worn.
