Blue Topaz Pendant

Blue Topaz Center
At the heart of this piece is a 2.11 carat round checkerboard cut blue topaz with a tantalizing color and stunning sparkle. It’s cradled in a martini prong setting where the prongs are arranged with one at the top in line with the bale and the other two on either side of the lower portion of the stone.
Pendant Design
A simple basket protects the back of the topaz, with none of it visible when the piece is viewed straight on from the front. The basket does, however, provide a connection point for the gently tapered bale, and it also has plenty of open space on the sides to allow light to reach the topaz form all sides. This helps increase the stone’s brilliant shine, and it ensures the focus stays rooted on the topaz itself. Pendants
Customization Options
To customize this piece, you may want to begin by choosing a type of stone with special personal meaning for you. There are many ways to go about this, including selecting a birthstone, favorite color or eye color, and our experts will advise you about your options as we move through the process.
You could also change the shape of the center stone to an oval or pear shape to bring a slightly different aesthetic to the piece while keeping the general framework intact. Opting for a different type of metal is worth considering too if you prefer the look of a different kind of contrast, and you can even experiment with adding some diamond accents on the front of the bale for a hint of a glamorous flair.

Customizing This Design
Any Joseph Jewelry item can be customized or used as the starting point for a new custom design. The gemstones, metal, proportions, setting style, surface details, and overall profile can be adjusted to better match your preferences, style, and budget.
Every custom piece begins with a conversation about what you want to create and what matters most to you. You work one-on-one with a designer to refine the concept, review the design direction, and create a detailed 3D CAD image of the item before it is made.
After the design is approved, we can create a wax model so you can review the piece physically. This step helps you evaluate scale, proportions, shape, and overall presence before final production begins.
Once the wax model is approved, our jewelers craft the finished piece with attention to structure, finish, stone security, and long-term wear. Each adjustment is reviewed carefully so the final item feels intentional, balanced, and made specifically for you.
You do not need to have every detail figured out before starting. If you like this item but want to change the stone, metal, size, shape, width, engraving, or overall style, we can guide those decisions through the custom design process.
Quality & Craftsmanship
At Joseph Jewelry, quality begins with the structure. We follow strict design and construction standards for metal thickness, weight, stone support, setting security, and long-term durability. These details help ensure the item is substantial enough for everyday wear while still maintaining a refined appearance.
We do not design custom jewelry to be unnecessarily thin or fragile. If a setting, band, gallery, or accent detail needs more support, we address it before production begins. The goal is to protect the stones, preserve the shape of the ring, and create a piece that can be worn confidently over time.
Gemstone selection is also part of our quality process. We help choose the center stone, side stones, and melee diamonds used in each ring, reviewing them for cut, color, clarity, consistency, and how well they fit the design. Even when a ring is designed around a specific budget, we maintain careful standards for the materials and craftsmanship that determine the quality of the finished piece.
Before completion, each custom piece is reviewed for proportion, comfort, stone security, finishing, and long-term wear.
Care & Warranty
All Joseph Jewelry custom pieces are supported by our lifetime warranty. We also provide long-term care, including complimentary cleaning and regular inspection, so your jewelry can be maintained properly over time.
Routine inspection is especially valuable for pieces worn every day. It allows the setting, stones, and overall structure to be checked as the jewelry is worn.
