Custom Diamond And Blue Sapphire Pendant
Item #102228 Price includes chainPendant Description
Center Sapphire
The sapphire in the center of this pendant is a square cushion cut stone with a rich blue color. It contrasts nicely with the sparkling white of the surrounding diamonds, an effect which really helps to highlight the intensity of the stone’s blue color. The color and placement of the sapphire also work together to center the pendant and lend a nice balance to the piece.
Diamond Layout
Because our client provided existing diamonds of varying sizes and cuts, we spaced them irregularly to allow them to frame the sapphire while also keeping the outer margins of the pendant straight. All of the diamonds supplied by our client were baguette cut, but three of them were also tapered, and so we used these to make up the angled front of the bale.
Custom Designs
No matter what type of custom jewelry you’d like to create or the type of occasion you want to commemorate, our team of experienced designers and artisans is here to help. We can work with you to adjust one of our existing designs, or we can help you create something completely new and different.
We offer a 100% satisfaction guarantee on all custom orders, and we can do that in part thanks to the wonderful 3D imaging technology we use for every project. Design Your Own Jewelry
Customizing This Design
Any Joseph Jewelry item can be customized or used as the starting point for a new custom design. The gemstones, metal, proportions, setting style, surface details, and overall profile can be adjusted to better match your preferences, style, and budget.
Every custom piece begins with a conversation about what you want to create and what matters most to you. You work one-on-one with a designer to refine the concept, review the design direction, and create a detailed 3D CAD image of the item before it is made.
After the design is approved, we can create a wax model so you can review the piece physically. This step helps you evaluate scale, proportions, shape, and overall presence before final production begins.
Once the wax model is approved, our jewelers craft the finished piece with attention to structure, finish, stone security, and long-term wear. Each adjustment is reviewed carefully so the final item feels intentional, balanced, and made specifically for you.
You do not need to have every detail figured out before starting. If you like this item but want to change the stone, metal, size, shape, width, engraving, or overall style, we can guide those decisions through the custom design process.
Quality & Craftsmanship
At Joseph Jewelry, quality begins with the structure. We follow strict design and construction standards for metal thickness, weight, stone support, setting security, and long-term durability. These details help ensure the item is substantial enough for everyday wear while still maintaining a refined appearance.
We do not design custom jewelry to be unnecessarily thin or fragile. If a setting, band, gallery, or accent detail needs more support, we address it before production begins. The goal is to protect the stones, preserve the shape of the ring, and create a piece that can be worn confidently over time.
Gemstone selection is also part of our quality process. We help choose the center stone, side stones, and melee diamonds used in each ring, reviewing them for cut, color, clarity, consistency, and how well they fit the design. Even when a ring is designed around a specific budget, we maintain careful standards for the materials and craftsmanship that determine the quality of the finished piece.
Before completion, each custom piece is reviewed for proportion, comfort, stone security, finishing, and long-term wear.
Care & Warranty
All Joseph Jewelry custom pieces are supported by our lifetime warranty. We also provide long-term care, including complimentary cleaning and regular inspection, so your jewelry can be maintained properly over time.
Routine inspection is especially valuable for pieces worn every day. It allows the setting, stones, and overall structure to be checked as the jewelry is worn.

I recently had my wedding/engagement ring reset, and used some of the baguettes from my old wedding set to have a necklace designed. To say that I was pleased would be an understatement! The staff at Joseph Jewelry were knowledgeable and easy to work with. I had an idea of what I wanted for my rings and necklace, but fell in love with the BETTER suggestions from the staff. I felt that I was always kept in the loop during the design process. I never felt pressured into something I didn't want, and was extremely happy with the amount of time given to me and my order through the whole process. The final results were perfect!
