Custom Diamond Cross Pendant
Item #100769 Price includes chainPendant Description
Center Diamond
At the center of this piece is a 0.73 carat marquise shaped diamond. It’s held by two prongs that cradle the top and bottom points of the stone, and it’s oriented lengthwise along the body of the pendant, with it’s center directly above the spot where the two pieces of the cross intersect.
One option for customizing this piece might be to use a different shape of diamond for the center. A round diamond would fit well, as would an oval or baguette, and each of these would bring their own individual style to the piece. Another option is to use a colored sapphire or diamond, and these are available in many different shades, giving you the opportunity to include a favorite or significant color in your piece.
Pendant Design
The pendant itself is in the shape of a cross. Princess cut diamonds are channel set along all of the pieces as they extend out from the center diamond, with two on the top and sides and three on the longer bottom piece. These accent stones dramatically increase the sparkle of the larger diamond in the center, and they highlight the elegant lines of the pendant as well.
Customization and Metal Options
If you’re interested in a more vintage style, you might consider switching to rose or yellow gold for the pendant and perhaps even adding some milgrain beading to frame the diamonds.
Customizing This Design
Any Joseph Jewelry item can be customized or used as the starting point for a new custom design. The gemstones, metal, proportions, setting style, surface details, and overall profile can be adjusted to better match your preferences, style, and budget.
Every custom piece begins with a conversation about what you want to create and what matters most to you. You work one-on-one with a designer to refine the concept, review the design direction, and create a detailed 3D CAD image of the item before it is made.
After the design is approved, we can create a wax model so you can review the piece physically. This step helps you evaluate scale, proportions, shape, and overall presence before final production begins.
Once the wax model is approved, our jewelers craft the finished piece with attention to structure, finish, stone security, and long-term wear. Each adjustment is reviewed carefully so the final item feels intentional, balanced, and made specifically for you.
You do not need to have every detail figured out before starting. If you like this item but want to change the stone, metal, size, shape, width, engraving, or overall style, we can guide those decisions through the custom design process.
Quality & Craftsmanship
At Joseph Jewelry, quality begins with the structure. We follow strict design and construction standards for metal thickness, weight, stone support, setting security, and long-term durability. These details help ensure the item is substantial enough for everyday wear while still maintaining a refined appearance.
We do not design custom jewelry to be unnecessarily thin or fragile. If a setting, band, gallery, or accent detail needs more support, we address it before production begins. The goal is to protect the stones, preserve the shape of the ring, and create a piece that can be worn confidently over time.
Gemstone selection is also part of our quality process. We help choose the center stone, side stones, and melee diamonds used in each ring, reviewing them for cut, color, clarity, consistency, and how well they fit the design. Even when a ring is designed around a specific budget, we maintain careful standards for the materials and craftsmanship that determine the quality of the finished piece.
Before completion, each custom piece is reviewed for proportion, comfort, stone security, finishing, and long-term wear.
Care & Warranty
All Joseph Jewelry custom pieces are supported by our lifetime warranty. We also provide long-term care, including complimentary cleaning and regular inspection, so your jewelry can be maintained properly over time.
Routine inspection is especially valuable for pieces worn every day. It allows the setting, stones, and overall structure to be checked as the jewelry is worn.
