Center Diamond and Halo
The center diamond in this piece is a 0.5 carat round brilliant cut stone, and it is anchored securely by a four prong setting. Running along its outer edge are bright cut set diamonds arranged in a halo pattern, and these provide added sparkle to the piece as well as reflecting light to increase the brilliance of the center stone.
The halo also represents an unending, everlasting love, and that symbolism is reinforced by the use of diamonds in the design. The delicate milgrain running along both edges of the diamond halo brings a sense of completeness to the piece, and it also adds some vintage flair.
Metal Options
The pendant and chain in this piece are both made from palladium, which is an exceptionally strong and lightweight metal. Those properties make it a good choice for this type of jewelry, as it possesses the required strength to hold the stones in place securely while not adding too much weight.

After you accept the estimate and make a down payment, we create a 3D CAD model and rendered views. Revisions within the initial design parameters are included; changes to materials or their amounts are re-estimated.
Physical model
A full-size wax model can be made to review scale, shape and proportions before production. It can be viewed in a showroom or shipped to you.
Approval and production
The design is approved before production begins. Your designer confirms the schedule, and our jewelers make, set and finish the piece.

Our custom jewelry follows design and construction standards for metal thickness, weight, stone support and setting security.

- The setting must have enough metal to support the stones and hold its shape through everyday wear. If an area needs more support, we address it before production.

- Final inspection

Coverage conditions
For Joseph Jewelry custom pieces, coverage begins with your signature. To keep it active, Joseph Jewelry must inspect and sign for your piece every six months and perform recommended repairs and maintenance.
Repairs due to normal wear and tear are the owner's responsibility. Damage, abuse or alterations can void coverage. Customers outside Washington pay shipping both ways for inspections or repairs, plus applicable duty or customs fees.
