She already had a collection of diamonds that she wanted to use, and our staff showed her some sample pieces to give her an idea of the kinds of features and styles that were possible. She settled on an overall concept that she liked, and we developed a couple of versions in CAD for her to review and evaluate. Eventually she chose the layout she liked best, and we proceeded to the actual production phase of her project.
Bezel Set Diamonds
There are 19 diamonds in this piece, all of which are round and bezel set. Fifteen of the diamonds were provided by the client, and we sourced the remaining four to match her stones and to complete the design. All together, these diamonds total 0.76 carats, and their dazzling sparkle shines through clearly, reinforced as it is by the silvery shine of the surrounding metal. Pendants
Necklace Design
The diamonds in this piece are arranged in a symmetrical pattern, with a single stone in the center, bordered on either side by another single stone set slightly up the chain. A space about double that separating the center stones separates them from the next grouping on each side, which is made up of three diamonds in a row. Beyond that is a group of two, followed by a single diamond, followed by a group of two to finish things off.
This distribution of the stones lends an elegant balance to the design, allowing for the incorporation of multiple small diamonds without the use of a large, central cluster. It’s a classically-inspired design and it displays a glamorous flair while also maintaining a minimalist profile.
