Custom Hearts Pendant
Item #102923 Price includes chainPendant Description
Pendant Design
The two hearts that make up this pendant are both made of 18k white gold, and they’re intertwined so that they stay together while still moving freely on the chain that passes through them both. One heart is also slightly smaller than the other, and this one features a bit of a curve towards the bottom, while the other maintains straighter lines coming down to the point.
Both hearts appear to be formed from a squared band that’s folded and twisted around on itself. This was one of the details the client was particularly concerned with capturing perfectly, and he made a model for us to show the lines in greater detail than could be seen in the photos.
Contrasting Finishes
On his model, he was also able to point out the spots where the piece needed to have a brushed finish that gradually faded into the high polish covering the rest of the pendant. This is on the front of each heart on the left hand side, beginning at the point and transitioning as it moves up towards the top.
His model and instructions allowed us to communicate to our expert artisans exactly how to apply these contrasting finishes. Although it’s a subtle detail, the contrast helps highlight the curvature and form of the hearts, and it adds extra complexity to the design without being overpowering.

Customizing This Design
Any Joseph Jewelry item can be customized or used as the starting point for a new custom design. The gemstones, metal, proportions, setting style, surface details, and overall profile can be adjusted to better match your preferences, style, and budget.
Every custom piece begins with a conversation about what you want to create and what matters most to you. You work one-on-one with a designer to refine the concept, review the design direction, and create a detailed 3D CAD image of the item before it is made.
After the design is approved, we can create a wax model so you can review the piece physically. This step helps you evaluate scale, proportions, shape, and overall presence before final production begins.
Once the wax model is approved, our jewelers craft the finished piece with attention to structure, finish, stone security, and long-term wear. Each adjustment is reviewed carefully so the final item feels intentional, balanced, and made specifically for you.
You do not need to have every detail figured out before starting. If you like this item but want to change the stone, metal, size, shape, width, engraving, or overall style, we can guide those decisions through the custom design process.
Quality & Craftsmanship
At Joseph Jewelry, quality begins with the structure. We follow strict design and construction standards for metal thickness, weight, stone support, setting security, and long-term durability. These details help ensure the item is substantial enough for everyday wear while still maintaining a refined appearance.
We do not design custom jewelry to be unnecessarily thin or fragile. If a setting, band, gallery, or accent detail needs more support, we address it before production begins. The goal is to protect the stones, preserve the shape of the ring, and create a piece that can be worn confidently over time.
Gemstone selection is also part of our quality process. We help choose the center stone, side stones, and melee diamonds used in each ring, reviewing them for cut, color, clarity, consistency, and how well they fit the design. Even when a ring is designed around a specific budget, we maintain careful standards for the materials and craftsmanship that determine the quality of the finished piece.
Before completion, each custom piece is reviewed for proportion, comfort, stone security, finishing, and long-term wear.
Care & Warranty
All Joseph Jewelry custom pieces are supported by our lifetime warranty. We also provide long-term care, including complimentary cleaning and regular inspection, so your jewelry can be maintained properly over time.
Routine inspection is especially valuable for pieces worn every day. It allows the setting, stones, and overall structure to be checked as the jewelry is worn.
