Once we have a good idea of what you’re interested in, we’ll create a model of your piece in CAD, at which point you can provide any feedback and request any adjustments you’d like. We can also grow a wax model for you to inspect in person, and only once you’re completely satisfied with our design will we turn your project over to our expert artisans to begin production.
Pendant Design
The body of this pendant is primarily made up of two C shapes, with one stacked on top of the other slightly off of center. The lower C is more to the right, with the bottom edge of the upper C meeting it just before it reaches the top of its curve. Both C’s are in a standard block-like text, and several curling scroll shapes extend out from where they come together, creating a decorative accent and balancing the design nicely.
Micro-Pave Diamond Accents
The C’s are micro-pave set with round diamonds, a detail which creates a wonderful sparkle and glamorous flair. They are also lined with milgrain beading, and this highlights the clean lines of the letters while also providing a beautiful frame for the diamonds.
As a finishing touch, four round diamonds are bezel set at the end of the swirling scrolls that come out from between the C’s. These are slightly larger than those lining the letters, and they add just the right weight to the back of the design while infusing a wonderful brilliance of their own.

Design and estimate
The initial design and estimate are free, with no obligation. Your designer discusses the materials, changes and budget with you before you commit.
3D design review
After you accept the estimate and make a down payment, we create a 3D CAD model and rendered views. Revisions within the initial design parameters are included; changes to materials or their amounts are re-estimated.
Physical model
A full-size wax model can be made to review scale, shape and proportions before production. It can be viewed in a showroom or shipped to you.
Approval and production
The design is approved before production begins. Your designer confirms the schedule, and our jewelers make, set and finish the piece.
Quality
Our custom jewelry follows design and construction standards for metal thickness, weight, stone support and setting security.
- Structure and support
- The setting must have enough metal to support the stones and hold its shape through everyday wear. If an area needs more support, we address it before production.
- Diamond and gemstone selection
- We help you choose stones for your custom design, reviewing cut, color, clarity, consistency and fit. Your budget guides these choices; our standards for materials and craftsmanship remain the same.
- Final inspection
- Before completion, we review each custom piece for proportion, comfort, stone security and finish.

Coverage conditions
For Joseph Jewelry custom pieces, coverage begins with your signature. To keep it active, Joseph Jewelry must inspect and sign for your piece every six months and perform recommended repairs and maintenance.
Repairs due to normal wear and tear are the owner's responsibility. Damage, abuse or alterations can void coverage. Customers outside Washington pay shipping both ways for inspections or repairs, plus applicable duty or customs fees.
