Red Garnet
The lone gemstone in this piece is a 1.30 carat round red garnet. The warm tones of the metal perfectly complement the rich red of the stone. Both of these contribute to the organic overtones of the design, and the way the metal gently cups the base of the prong setting helps intensify the effect as well.
Pendant Design
There are two layers to this pendant, with the base being an undulating but polished piece that describes the perimeter of the flower on the top and right hand sides. Set on top of this is another piece of rose gold, whose asymmetrical shape works well with the organic themes of the design. This portion is more textured, with curving grooves meandering across it and a brushed finish.
The majority of this upper section sits on top of the polished piece, but it also extends off the edge towards the lower left. The asymmetry and contrasting finishes used on this pendant help highlight the distinction between the various sections, and they also contribute to the beautiful floral quality of the design.

3D design review
After you accept the estimate and make a down payment, we create a 3D CAD model and rendered views. Revisions within the initial design parameters are included; changes to materials or their amounts are re-estimated.
Physical model
A full-size wax model can be made to review scale, shape and proportions before production. It can be viewed in a showroom or shipped to you.
Approval and production
The design is approved before production begins. Your designer confirms the schedule, and our jewelers make, set and finish the piece.
Quality
Our custom jewelry follows design and construction standards for metal thickness, weight, stone support and setting security.
- Structure and support
- The setting must have enough metal to support the stones and hold its shape through everyday wear. If an area needs more support, we address it before production.
- Diamond and gemstone selection
- We help you choose stones for your custom design, reviewing cut, color, clarity, consistency and fit. Your budget guides these choices; our standards for materials and craftsmanship remain the same.
- Final inspection
- Before completion, we review each custom piece for proportion, comfort, stone security and finish.

Coverage conditions
For Joseph Jewelry custom pieces, coverage begins with your signature. To keep it active, Joseph Jewelry must inspect and sign for your piece every six months and perform recommended repairs and maintenance.
Repairs due to normal wear and tear are the owner's responsibility. Damage, abuse or alterations can void coverage. Customers outside Washington pay shipping both ways for inspections or repairs, plus applicable duty or customs fees.
