Pink Sapphire Center
At the center of this pendant is a one carat cushion shaped pink sapphire. Its delicate color is complemented nicely by the warm metal it’s set in, and the way it’s oriented in the compass position, with two rounded corners inline with the bale, gives the design a nice overall balance.
Diamond Accents
A thin band separates the center sapphire from the diamonds encircling it. These are much smaller and round, and they’re all tension set. This arrangement creates an alternating pattern of diamonds and metal all the way around the perimeter of the pendant, with the dazzling sparkle of the diamonds helping to enhance the brilliance of the sapphire at the same time.
Customization Options
To begin customizing this piece, you might want to consider using different types or colors of gemstones in both the center and perimeter positions. You could also switch to yellow or white gold to introduce a different type of contrast, and you could experiment with different types of setting styes for all or some of the gemstones.
For instance, using a bezel setting in the center and bright cut settings for the surrounding diamonds would give the pendant a dramatically different look while keeping many of the main elements the same. Every custom piece begins with a conversation about what you want to create and what matters most to you. You work one-on-one with a designer to refine the concept, review the design direction, and create a detailed 3D CAD image of the item before it is made.
After the design is approved, we can create a wax model so you can review the piece physically. This step helps you evaluate scale, proportions, shape, and overall presence before final production begins.
Once the wax model is approved, our jewelers craft the finished piece with attention to structure, finish, stone security, and long-term wear. Each adjustment is reviewed carefully so the final item feels intentional, balanced, and made specifically for you.
