London Blue Topaz
The centerpiece of this pendant is a 1.90 carat London blue topaz. Its rich blue-green color contrasts beautifully with the metal it’s set in, and the use of the bezel setting style highlights the stone’s elegant shape.
The London blue topaz is the darkest variety of this precious stone, and it’s also generally the most sought after. It’s only slightly less hard than sapphires, coming in at an 8 on the Mohs scale, which makes it a good choice for a piece of fine jewelry you’ll want to wear frequently.
Diamond and Milgrain Accents
The bezel setting surrounding the topaz features a double line of milgrain beading that brings in some vintage overtones while helping to frame the stone nicely. Outside of this, round diamonds are split prong set around the top and bottom of the stone, with nine diamonds on each end. Pendants
In both groups, these are arranged with the largest in the center, and they taper going down each side to fit in the space available. The metal they’re set in narrows along with them, eventually coming to a point right in the middle of each side of the pendant, and this creates an elegant and slightly organic-looking piece.
The bale connects to the topmost point on the pendant through a small loop of metal that rises up directly above the largest diamond in that set. Four split prong set diamonds line this element as well, adding a lovely sparkle and serving to create a unified look for the design.
Customizing This Design
Any Joseph Jewelry item can be customized or used as the starting point for a new custom design. The gemstones, metal, proportions, setting style, surface details, and overall profile can be adjusted to better match your preferences, style, and budget.
Every custom piece begins with a conversation about what you want to create and what matters most to you. You work one-on-one with a designer to refine the concept, review the design direction, and create a detailed 3D CAD image of the item before it is made.
After the design is approved, we can create a wax model so you can review the piece physically. This step helps you evaluate scale, proportions, shape, and overall presence before final production begins.
Once the wax model is approved, our jewelers craft the finished piece with attention to structure, finish, stone security, and long-term wear. Each adjustment is reviewed carefully so the final item feels intentional, balanced, and made specifically for you.
You do not need to have every detail figured out before starting. If you like this item but want to change the stone, metal, size, shape, width, engraving, or overall style, we can guide those decisions through the custom design process.
Quality & Craftsmanship
At Joseph Jewelry, quality begins with the structure. We follow strict design and construction standards for metal thickness, weight, stone support, setting security, and long-term durability. These details help ensure the item is substantial enough for everyday wear while still maintaining a refined appearance.
We do not design custom jewelry to be unnecessarily thin or fragile. If a setting, band, gallery, or accent detail needs more support, we address it before production begins. The goal is to protect the stones, preserve the shape of the ring, and create a piece that can be worn confidently over time.
Gemstone selection is also part of our quality process. We help choose the center stone, side stones, and melee diamonds used in each ring, reviewing them for cut, color, clarity, consistency, and how well they fit the design. Even when a ring is designed around a specific budget, we maintain careful standards for the materials and craftsmanship that determine the quality of the finished piece.
Before completion, each custom piece is reviewed for proportion, comfort, stone security, finishing, and long-term wear.
Care & Warranty
All Joseph Jewelry custom pieces are supported by our lifetime warranty. We also provide long-term care, including complimentary cleaning and regular inspection, so your jewelry can be maintained properly over time.
Routine inspection is especially valuable for pieces worn every day. It allows the setting, stones, and overall structure to be checked as the jewelry is worn.
