Emerald Center
The centerpiece of this design is a 0.34 carat bezel set round emerald. The perfect green sparkle of the stone contrasts beautifully with the silvery shine of the surrounding metal, helping the stone stand out despite its relatively small size. Diamond Halo
Running around the outer margin of this pendant is a halo of round bright cut set diamonds, and it follows the general contours of a square, but with gently curved sides and slightly rounded corners. The brilliant sparkle of the diamonds adds a glamorous flair to the piece, and it provides the perfect counterpoint to the larger green stone in the center.
Milgrain and Filigree
In the space between the bezel setting holding the emerald and the inner margin of the halo is an intricate pattern of scroll filigree. The strands that make this up curve inward from a point in the middle of each side, branching out and then back around to loop under. There is also a straight strand that extends in from each corner of the halo, effectively separating the filigree section into four identical parts. Pendants
To help highlight the design, the filigree is lined with milgrain beading, and this extends to the bezel setting in the center, as well as to the margins of the halo. The milgrain also contributes to the vintage style of the design.

Physical model
A full-size wax model can be made to review scale, shape and proportions before production. It can be viewed in a showroom or shipped to you.
Approval and production
The design is approved before production begins. Your designer confirms the schedule, and our jewelers make, set and finish the piece.
Quality
Our custom jewelry follows design and construction standards for metal thickness, weight, stone support and setting security.
- Structure and support
- The setting must have enough metal to support the stones and hold its shape through everyday wear. If an area needs more support, we address it before production.
- Diamond and gemstone selection
- We help you choose stones for your custom design, reviewing cut, color, clarity, consistency and fit. Your budget guides these choices; our standards for materials and craftsmanship remain the same.
- Final inspection
- Before completion, we review each custom piece for proportion, comfort, stone security and finish.

Coverage conditions
For Joseph Jewelry custom pieces, coverage begins with your signature. To keep it active, Joseph Jewelry must inspect and sign for your piece every six months and perform recommended repairs and maintenance.
Repairs due to normal wear and tear are the owner's responsibility. Damage, abuse or alterations can void coverage. Customers outside Washington pay shipping both ways for inspections or repairs, plus applicable duty or customs fees.
