En Pearl Tulip Pendant
Item #103247Pendant Description
Pieces by this designer are remarkable for incorporating organic themes, as well as for the ways they use light to highlight the beauty of the materials. The creative use of conventional materials continually pushes the limits of what’s possible in fine jewelry design, and you can view this and other wonderful pieces by the designer anytime you stop into our Bellevue, WA showroom.
Carved Pearl
The smooth surface of the yellow gold pearl in this piece is disturbed by a pattern of elegant grooves that combine to create the likeness of tulip petals reaching up towards the top. These petal shapes overlap each other, with their points eventually converging around the cap that links the pearl to the bale.
The interplay of light and shadow that’s made possible by the textured surface of the pearl helps to highlight its gorgeous colors. It’s these lovely shades that contribute significantly to the organic themes already present in the design, and that work to enhance the floral feel of the piece.
Pendant Design
The cap that joins the pearl to the bale is small, with rounded tendrils reaching out in all directions. This design detail enhances the floral feel of the piece while keeping the focus squarely on the pearl below.
Customizing This Design
Any Joseph Jewelry item can be customized or used as the starting point for a new custom design. The gemstones, metal, proportions, setting style, surface details, and overall profile can be adjusted to better match your preferences, style, and budget.
Every custom piece begins with a conversation about what you want to create and what matters most to you. You work one-on-one with a designer to refine the concept, review the design direction, and create a detailed 3D CAD image of the item before it is made.
After the design is approved, we can create a wax model so you can review the piece physically. This step helps you evaluate scale, proportions, shape, and overall presence before final production begins.
Once the wax model is approved, our jewelers craft the finished piece with attention to structure, finish, stone security, and long-term wear. Each adjustment is reviewed carefully so the final item feels intentional, balanced, and made specifically for you.
You do not need to have every detail figured out before starting. If you like this item but want to change the stone, metal, size, shape, width, engraving, or overall style, we can guide those decisions through the custom design process.
Quality & Craftsmanship
At Joseph Jewelry, quality begins with the structure. We follow strict design and construction standards for metal thickness, weight, stone support, setting security, and long-term durability. These details help ensure the item is substantial enough for everyday wear while still maintaining a refined appearance.
We do not design custom jewelry to be unnecessarily thin or fragile. If a setting, band, gallery, or accent detail needs more support, we address it before production begins. The goal is to protect the stones, preserve the shape of the ring, and create a piece that can be worn confidently over time.
Gemstone selection is also part of our quality process. We help choose the center stone, side stones, and melee diamonds used in each ring, reviewing them for cut, color, clarity, consistency, and how well they fit the design. Even when a ring is designed around a specific budget, we maintain careful standards for the materials and craftsmanship that determine the quality of the finished piece.
Before completion, each custom piece is reviewed for proportion, comfort, stone security, finishing, and long-term wear.
Care & Warranty
All Joseph Jewelry custom pieces are supported by our lifetime warranty. We also provide long-term care, including complimentary cleaning and regular inspection, so your jewelry can be maintained properly over time.
Routine inspection is especially valuable for pieces worn every day. It allows the setting, stones, and overall structure to be checked as the jewelry is worn.
