Blue Topaz Center
At the heart of this pendant is a 20.48 carat oval blue topaz that extends down lengthwise from the filigree bale. It’s cradled in a filigree setting and the contrast between the striking blue sparkle of the stone and the silvery shine of the metal adds to the overall dynamic quality of the piece. The openness of the setting also contributes to the impressive appearance of the topaz, and it ensures that plenty of light can reach the stone, helping to increase its beautiful shine. Pendants
Diamonds and Filigree
The filigree holding the topaz depicts a floral design that wraps entirely across the front surface of the stone. There are five round diamonds bezel set within the filigree, with one slightly larger in the very center and the four smaller evenly spaced around that one. The diamonds are small, but their sparkle provides just the right counterpoint to the large, oval topaz. Design Your Own Pendant
Further definition is brought to the filigree pattern by the milgrain beading that lines it, and this helps enhance the vintage overtones of the design as well. That milgrain continues up onto the bale, which is also made entirely of filigree and which holds the final diamond accent. The six accent stones in the piece all together total 0.11 carats, and the inclusion of the diamond in the bale provides a nice connection to the body of the pendant below.

A full-size wax model can be made to review scale, shape and proportions before production. It can be viewed in a showroom or shipped to you.
Approval and production
The design is approved before production begins. Your designer confirms the schedule, and our jewelers make, set and finish the piece.
Quality
Our custom jewelry follows design and construction standards for metal thickness, weight, stone support and setting security.
- Structure and support
- The setting must have enough metal to support the stones and hold its shape through everyday wear. If an area needs more support, we address it before production.
- Diamond and gemstone selection
- We help you choose stones for your custom design, reviewing cut, color, clarity, consistency and fit. Your budget guides these choices; our standards for materials and craftsmanship remain the same.
- Final inspection
- Before completion, we review each custom piece for proportion, comfort, stone security and finish.

For Joseph Jewelry custom pieces, coverage begins with your signature. To keep it active, Joseph Jewelry must inspect and sign for your piece every six months and perform recommended repairs and maintenance.
Repairs due to normal wear and tear are the owner's responsibility. Damage, abuse or alterations can void coverage. Customers outside Washington pay shipping both ways for inspections or repairs, plus applicable duty or customs fees.
