My fiance and I are not the kind of people who follow the norm. We are constantly seeking unique items for our home and even our attire. She is a professional artist and I am an historian and professional mariner having spent a good amount of time in the tall ship community. When we decided to marry we began searching for unique rings that would fit our style and personalities. In our search we discovered Mokume Gane and focused our search for the best artisan of that style. We found many who made mokume, but we were taken by the work that Joseph Jewelry showed on their site. I initiated a conversation with Joseph online through their custom design page. Everyone I dealt with was fantastic, understanding and highly professional. The design process went smoothly with tremendous communication throughout. When the rings arrived I was floored by their beauty and quality. Heather's engagement ring is tremendous, set with a stunning orange sapphire and two high quality diamonds. The mokume gane bands are breathtaking and I cannot wait to wear mine. It can sometimes be a bit unnerving to make such high dollar, custom purchases long distance, but I would not hesitate to recommend Joseph Jewelry to anyone and I know that I will turn to them again for those special jewelry purchases in the future.
