Item #102848 $3,095Women's Wedding Ring Description
They came into our Bellevue, WA showroom to get the custom design process underway, and we communicated with them online through the workroom we set up to manage their project as well. When the time came to complete the engraving, we borrowed the engagement ring to ensure all details matched exactly, and now the set is absolutely stunning when worn together. Matching Wedding Sets
Half Eternity Design
The arrangement of the 31 diamonds in this ring is considered a half eternity pattern, as it runs across only the top section of the band. This is a popular option, as it eliminates the chances that the diamonds on the bottom of the ring will become damaged, and it allows for other custom details like the beautiful hand engraving seen here.
Of course, the half eternity design still evokes a sense of unending love to serve as a lovely symbol of the commitment you’re making to each other. In the case of this piece, the diamonds stop at the same point as they do on the matching engagement ring, helping to unify the set as well.
Hand Engraving and Milgrain
Delicate milgrain beading runs along the row of diamonds as well as the hand-engraved sections of the ring, framing both features beautifully. This placement also mirrors that of the milgrain on the companion engagement ring, which further links the two pieces. The pattern of the engraving itself is made up of a beautiful flowing scroll design, and it is identical to the engraving on the engagement ring.
Straight vs Contoured Wedding Bands
The engagement ring that makes up the other part of this set features a split shank that angles out as it reaches the main setting. In order for the wedding band to sit flush with it, then, the band would have needed to be contoured. The clients chose to go with a straight band, however, and this means there is a slight gap between the two rings at certain points when they’re worn together.
This doesn’t diminish the beauty of the set in the slightest, and it also makes it possible to wear the wedding band as a stand-alone piece for occasions when you wouldn’t want to risk damaging the larger, more prominent diamond in the engagement ring.
There are benefits to both contoured and straight wedding bands, and many times it simply comes down to a matter of personal style. If you’re undecided about the type you’d like when designing your wedding set, we can show you examples of each to help ensure you’re completely satisfied with the pieces we produce for you.

Joseph Jewelry
Customizing This Design
Any Joseph Jewelry item can be customized or used as the starting point for a new custom design. The gemstones, metal, proportions, setting style, surface details, and overall profile can be adjusted to better match your preferences, style, and budget.
Every custom piece begins with a conversation about what you want to create and what matters most to you. You work one-on-one with a designer to refine the concept, review the design direction, and create a detailed 3D CAD image of the item before it is made.
After the design is approved, we can create a wax model so you can review the piece physically. This step helps you evaluate scale, proportions, shape, and overall presence before final production begins.
Once the wax model is approved, our jewelers craft the finished piece with attention to structure, finish, stone security, and long-term wear. Each adjustment is reviewed carefully so the final item feels intentional, balanced, and made specifically for you.
You do not need to have every detail figured out before starting. If you like this item but want to change the stone, metal, size, shape, width, engraving, or overall style, we can guide those decisions through the custom design process.
Quality & Craftsmanship
At Joseph Jewelry, quality begins with the structure. We follow strict design and construction standards for metal thickness, weight, stone support, setting security, and long-term durability. These details help ensure the item is substantial enough for everyday wear while still maintaining a refined appearance.
We do not design custom jewelry to be unnecessarily thin or fragile. If a setting, band, gallery, or accent detail needs more support, we address it before production begins. The goal is to protect the stones, preserve the shape of the ring, and create a piece that can be worn confidently over time.
Gemstone selection is also part of our quality process. We help choose the center stone, side stones, and melee diamonds used in each ring, reviewing them for cut, color, clarity, consistency, and how well they fit the design. Even when a ring is designed around a specific budget, we maintain careful standards for the materials and craftsmanship that determine the quality of the finished piece.
Before completion, each custom piece is reviewed for proportion, comfort, stone security, finishing, and long-term wear.
Care & Warranty
All Joseph Jewelry custom pieces are supported by our lifetime warranty. We also provide long-term care, including complimentary cleaning and regular inspection, so your jewelry can be maintained properly over time.
Routine inspection is especially valuable for pieces worn every day. It allows the setting, stones, and overall structure to be checked as the jewelry is worn.
