This elegant women’s wedding ring features a row of round diamonds bright cut set across the top of a contoured platinum band, with hand engraving and milgrain accents covering the rest of the shank. It was created for a couple from Seward, AK for whom we’d previously made an engagement ring. They were so happy with that piece that they came back to us for a matching wedding band, and this was the design that they settled on.

Diamonds and Milgrain
There are 18 diamonds running across the top of this ring, and they’re all bright cut set for a lovely vintage look. They stop at about the mid-point on the band, which is the same spot that the accent diamonds stop in the matching engagement ring. Although the diamonds in the wedding band are slightly larger than those in the engagement ring, the use of the same setting style and placement makes for a lovely, unified presentation.
The accent diamonds on both pieces are also lined with milgrain beading, and this reinforces the vintage overtones while giving the set a nice, finished look. The milgrain extends down around the rest of the band as well, framing the hand engraving found there, and mirroring the placement of the same feature on the engagement ring. Women's Wedding Rings
Hand Engraving
The entire bottom portion of the ring, as well as the fronts next to the diamonds, are engraved with a delicate wheat design that also matches the engagement ring’s pattern. The use of these shared features unites the set fully, and it makes for an even more impressive presentation.
Contoured Wedding Bands
This band curves out slightly at the top to accommodate the larger center setting on the engagement ring. The curve lets the wedding band line up nicely with the other, but because of the angles in the engagement ring’s main setting, the two aren’t completely flush. Matching Wedding Sets
This arrangement leaves some space between the two rings, but it also makes it clear that they were made to go together. There is a small notch in one side of the wedding band as well, and this fits perfectly around the middle portion of the engagement ring setting to allow the two rings to join together in that spot and to keep them aligned properly.

Approval and production
The design is approved before production begins. Your designer confirms the schedule, and our jewelers make, set and finish the piece.
Quality
Our custom jewelry follows design and construction standards for metal thickness, weight, stone support and setting security.

- The setting must have enough metal to support the stones and hold its shape through everyday wear. If an area needs more support, we address it before production.

- We help you choose stones for your custom design, reviewing cut, color, clarity, consistency and fit. Your budget guides these choices; our standards for materials and craftsmanship remain the same.

- Before completion, we review each custom piece for proportion, comfort, stone security and finish.

Coverage conditions
For Joseph Jewelry custom pieces, coverage begins with your signature. To keep it active, Joseph Jewelry must inspect and sign for your piece every six months and perform recommended repairs and maintenance.
Repairs due to normal wear and tear are the owner's responsibility. Damage, abuse or alterations can void coverage. Customers outside Washington pay shipping both ways for inspections or repairs, plus applicable duty or customs fees.
