There are 47 round bright cut set diamonds in this ring, and they run in a line from close to the bottom on one side to the same spot on the other. This matches the placement and setting style of the diamond accents on the companion engagement ring we also made for this client, and because the band is the same width as the engagement ring as well, the accent diamonds are also the same size. Rows of milgrain run along each side of the line of diamonds, providing a lovely frame as well as a hint of vintage flair. This type of accent is present in the matching engagement ring as well, providing an additional detail to help unite the set.
Contoured Wedding Bands
Because of the criss-cross band design on the engagement ring, this wedding band was contoured to fit cleanly up against it. That required introducing a slight curve on the side of the band, as well as a more substantial one near the top. This upper curve makes space for the large center setting of the engagement ring, allowing the accent diamonds to run alongside it, a detail which only adds to the glamorous display.
