This elegant women’s wedding ring features round brilliant cut diamonds set nearly all the way around the contoured platinum band, accented by lines of milgrain beading. It was created for a client from Bothell, WA to match an engagement ring, which we had made for her previously. She shared her vision for the band with us, and we developed both CAD proofs and a wax model for her to look at so she could be sure it was perfect before giving her approval to move things into production. Diamonds and Milgrain
There are 47 round bright cut set diamonds in this ring, and they run in a line from close to the bottom on one side to the same spot on the other. This matches the placement and setting style of the diamond accents on the companion engagement ring we also made for this client, and because the band is the same width as the engagement ring as well, the accent diamonds are also the same size. Matching Wedding Sets
Rows of milgrain run along each side of the line of diamonds, providing a lovely frame as well as a hint of vintage flair. This type of accent is present in the matching engagement ring as well, providing an additional detail to help unite the set.
Contoured Wedding Bands
Because of the criss-cross band design on the engagement ring, this wedding band was contoured to fit cleanly up against it. That required introducing a slight curve on the side of the band, as well as a more substantial one near the top. This upper curve makes space for the large center setting of the engagement ring, allowing the accent diamonds to run alongside it, a detail which only adds to the glamorous display. A contoured wedding band can be made to fit just about any type of engagement ring design. There are different variations, of course, as you can see from this set. This wedding band curves to sit flush with certain areas of the engagement ring, but it also leaves space in some spots. However, if you want a band that will trace exactly the line of your engagement ring, we can accomplish that as well.

After you accept the estimate and make a down payment, we create a 3D CAD model and rendered views. Revisions within the initial design parameters are included; changes to materials or their amounts are re-estimated.
Physical model
A full-size wax model can be made to review scale, shape and proportions before production. It can be viewed in a showroom or shipped to you.
Approval and production
The design is approved before production begins. Your designer confirms the schedule, and our jewelers make, set and finish the piece.
Quality
Our custom jewelry follows design and construction standards for metal thickness, weight, stone support and setting security.

- The setting must have enough metal to support the stones and hold its shape through everyday wear. If an area needs more support, we address it before production.
- Diamond and gemstone selection
- We help you choose stones for your custom design, reviewing cut, color, clarity, consistency and fit. Your budget guides these choices; our standards for materials and craftsmanship remain the same.
- Final inspection
- Before completion, we review each custom piece for proportion, comfort, stone security and finish.

Coverage conditions
For Joseph Jewelry custom pieces, coverage begins with your signature. To keep it active, Joseph Jewelry must inspect and sign for your piece every six months and perform recommended repairs and maintenance.
Repairs due to normal wear and tear are the owner's responsibility. Damage, abuse or alterations can void coverage. Customers outside Washington pay shipping both ways for inspections or repairs, plus applicable duty or customs fees.
