Bar Setting
Small prongs hold the marquise diamonds in place from point to point. This setting is called "shared prong" because two diamonds share a prong together. The ring has a very balanced look because of the uniformity of the prongs. Only the prong on each end of the diamonds holds it in the ring, minimizing the amount of metal and making it nearly impossible to see the metal below the diamonds.
