This lovely women’s wedding ring features round amethysts bright cut set in a scalloped band with milgrain accents. The design originated as part of a custom wedding set for a client from Shepherdsville, KY to go with engagement ring #102319. He shared his inspiration pieces with us online, and we worked with him to find a combination of features and materials that we could use to make the perfect set for him while still staying within his budget.

Amethysts
The gems used in this ring are round amethysts with a rich purple color that stands out thanks to the dramatic contrast with the 14k white gold band. They also bring wonderful overtones of faithful love, passion, and spirituality, which make them a great addition to a ring meant to commemorate such a special occasion.
Scalloped Band
The scalloped band holding the amethysts introduces a gentle motion to the ring, and it also mirrors the movement of the band in the accompanying engagement ring. The scalloped shape helps reinforce the vintage style of the piece as well, and this is further emphasized by the milgrain beading that lines the stone settings.
Wedding Sets
We created the two rings in this set together, and this allowed us to ensure that all details matched exactly. It also let us line up the contours of the wedding band and engagement ring perfectly so that they sit comfortably and elegantly together.

3D design review
After you accept the estimate and make a down payment, we create a 3D CAD model and rendered views. Revisions within the initial design parameters are included; changes to materials or their amounts are re-estimated.
Physical model
A full-size wax model can be made to review scale, shape and proportions before production. It can be viewed in a showroom or shipped to you.
Approval and production
The design is approved before production begins. Your designer confirms the schedule, and our jewelers make, set and finish the piece.
Quality
Our custom jewelry follows design and construction standards for metal thickness, weight, stone support and setting security.
- Structure and support
- The setting must have enough metal to support the stones and hold its shape through everyday wear. If an area needs more support, we address it before production.
- Diamond and gemstone selection
- We help you choose stones for your custom design, reviewing cut, color, clarity, consistency and fit. Your budget guides these choices; our standards for materials and craftsmanship remain the same.
- Final inspection
- Before completion, we review each custom piece for proportion, comfort, stone security and finish.

Coverage conditions
For Joseph Jewelry custom pieces, coverage begins with your signature. To keep it active, Joseph Jewelry must inspect and sign for your piece every six months and perform recommended repairs and maintenance.
Repairs due to normal wear and tear are the owner's responsibility. Damage, abuse or alterations can void coverage. Customers outside Washington pay shipping both ways for inspections or repairs, plus applicable duty or customs fees.
