18k White Gold Hand-engraved Wedding Band
Item #103495 $5,150Women's Wedding Ring Description
To begin the custom design process, you can visit our Bellevue, WA showroom in person, or you can reach out to us online. We’ll discuss your style and feature preferences with you and then put together a highly-detailed representation of the piece we propose to make in CAD. You can request modifications and revisions to this as many times as you’d like until you’re satisfied it perfectly matches your vision, and only then will we turn things over to our expert artisans to begin production.
Engraved Pattern
The top part of the band all the way around is covered with detailed hand engraving in a fan pattern that alternates from one side to the other. An undulating line of milgrain beading snakes its way through this pattern between the two sides, helping to clearly mark their separation and providing some additional detail to the piece. Milgrain also runs along both ring margins, framing the top section beautifully and adding some vintage flair along the way.
The fronts of the ring are engraved as well, and the pattern there is smaller due to space constraints but complementary to the design on top. This is also framed by lines of milgrain, and it adds a satisfying balance to the piece. Hand Engraving
Customization Options
If you’d like to customize this piece, one good area to begin is the pattern of engraving itself. Our master engraver can replicate just about any design or symbol you’d like to see worked into the piece, as long as their is enough space, and that allows you to add a special personal detail to an already significant ring.
Another thing to consider is adjusting the width of the ring, particularly if there’s something you’d like engraved that would benefit from more space. You may also want to use a different type of metal, and you could even experiment with working in some small gemstones to the design. Eliminating the milgrain would push the ring in a more contemporary direction, and that’s worth exploring too if your style preferences lean more in that direction.

Customizing This Design
Any Joseph Jewelry item can be customized or used as the starting point for a new custom design. The gemstones, metal, proportions, setting style, surface details, and overall profile can be adjusted to better match your preferences, style, and budget.
Every custom piece begins with a conversation about what you want to create and what matters most to you. You work one-on-one with a designer to refine the concept, review the design direction, and create a detailed 3D CAD image of the item before it is made.
After the design is approved, we can create a wax model so you can review the piece physically. This step helps you evaluate scale, proportions, shape, and overall presence before final production begins.
Once the wax model is approved, our jewelers craft the finished piece with attention to structure, finish, stone security, and long-term wear. Each adjustment is reviewed carefully so the final item feels intentional, balanced, and made specifically for you.
You do not need to have every detail figured out before starting. If you like this item but want to change the stone, metal, size, shape, width, engraving, or overall style, we can guide those decisions through the custom design process.
Quality & Craftsmanship
At Joseph Jewelry, quality begins with the structure. We follow strict design and construction standards for metal thickness, weight, stone support, setting security, and long-term durability. These details help ensure the item is substantial enough for everyday wear while still maintaining a refined appearance.
We do not design custom jewelry to be unnecessarily thin or fragile. If a setting, band, gallery, or accent detail needs more support, we address it before production begins. The goal is to protect the stones, preserve the shape of the ring, and create a piece that can be worn confidently over time.
Gemstone selection is also part of our quality process. We help choose the center stone, side stones, and melee diamonds used in each ring, reviewing them for cut, color, clarity, consistency, and how well they fit the design. Even when a ring is designed around a specific budget, we maintain careful standards for the materials and craftsmanship that determine the quality of the finished piece.
Before completion, each custom piece is reviewed for proportion, comfort, stone security, finishing, and long-term wear.
Care & Warranty
All Joseph Jewelry custom pieces are supported by our lifetime warranty. We also provide long-term care, including complimentary cleaning and regular inspection, so your jewelry can be maintained properly over time.
Routine inspection is especially valuable for pieces worn every day. It allows the setting, stones, and overall structure to be checked as the jewelry is worn.
