This stunning women’s wedding ring features two rows of round bright cut set diamonds lined with milgrain covering the top half of the tapered platinum band. It was created for a client, who visited our Bellevue, WA showroom to begin the custom design process. During this initial consultation, he shared his vision for the piece he was interested in, and our experts used this information to construct models in CAD that he quickly approved to move into production. Bright Cut Set Diamonds and Milgrain
There are 34 diamonds in this ring, all of which are round and bright cut set. They’re arranged in two parallel rows that run from the mid-point on one side of the band to the same spot on the other. All together, these diamonds total 0.58 carats, providing a dazzling sparkle and decidedly elegant flair to the ring.
Milgrain beading frames these lines of diamonds, with a single row running down the middle of the band between them, and rows on each ring margin. This adds a lovely vintage flair, and it brings a delicate elegance to the design as well. Women’s Custom Wedding Bands
Band Design and Customization Options
The band tapers slightly, with the widest point at the top and the narrowest point at the bottom. This leads to a more dramatic display on top and a more comfortable fit overall. The lower portion of the band is flat and polished, creating a lovely contrast with the sparkle of the diamonds and the milgrain detail on the top.
If you’d like a slightly different look, however, there are plenty of options to consider. For instance, you could use channel set princess cut diamonds rather than the round bright cut set found here. Or you could simply eliminate the milgrain beading for a more contemporary look.
Switching to a different color metal is also an option, as both rose and yellow gold would add some warmth and contrast to the piece. Adjusting the width of the band is something else to consider, and that would change the size of the diamonds as well as the overall balance of the design.

3D design review
After you accept the estimate and make a down payment, we create a 3D CAD model and rendered views. Revisions within the initial design parameters are included; changes to materials or their amounts are re-estimated.
Physical model
A full-size wax model can be made to review scale, shape and proportions before production. It can be viewed in a showroom or shipped to you.
Approval and production
The design is approved before production begins. Your designer confirms the schedule, and our jewelers make, set and finish the piece.
Quality
Our custom jewelry follows design and construction standards for metal thickness, weight, stone support and setting security.

- The setting must have enough metal to support the stones and hold its shape through everyday wear. If an area needs more support, we address it before production.
- Diamond and gemstone selection
- We help you choose stones for your custom design, reviewing cut, color, clarity, consistency and fit. Your budget guides these choices; our standards for materials and craftsmanship remain the same.
- Final inspection
- Before completion, we review each custom piece for proportion, comfort, stone security and finish.

Coverage conditions
For Joseph Jewelry custom pieces, coverage begins with your signature. To keep it active, Joseph Jewelry must inspect and sign for your piece every six months and perform recommended repairs and maintenance.
Repairs due to normal wear and tear are the owner's responsibility. Damage, abuse or alterations can void coverage. Customers outside Washington pay shipping both ways for inspections or repairs, plus applicable duty or customs fees.
