This beautiful women’s wedding ring features round diamonds and baguette rubies in an alternating pattern that runs all the way around the rose gold band. It was made for a couple from Seattle, WA as part of a set that also included the men’s band. They initially came into our Bellevue, WA showroom to get the custom design process started and share their ideas for their rings with our team. After that meeting, we put together proofs in CAD of the pieces as we proposed to make them. The clients were very satisfied with what we’d outlined, and so we immediately turned their project over to our skilled artisans to begin production.
Rubies and Diamonds
There are 10 baguette cut rubies and 10 round diamonds in this ring, and they’re all bezel set in 14k rose gold. They’re arranged in an alternating pattern that runs all the way around the band, making it a stunning version of an eternity ring. This type of design is popular for both wedding and anniversary bands, as it naturally integrates the themes of unending love and a perfect union, and it can be paired with any number of engagement ring designs. Band Design and Milgrain Accents
The outer margins of the ring are dictated by the shape of the bezel settings, giving the piece a somewhat scalloped shape. The relationship between the shapes of the rubies and diamonds is highlighted thanks to this arrangement, adding an additional layer of complexity to reinforce the color contrast.
Both the rubies and the diamonds are framed by delicate milgrain beading that runs all the way around each of their settings. This, combined with the use of rose gold for the band, helps to push the piece in a more vintage direction. The fronts of the ring are also brushed, giving it a soft, velvety texture, while the top is polished to a high shine.

3D design review
After you accept the estimate and make a down payment, we create a 3D CAD model and rendered views. Revisions within the initial design parameters are included; changes to materials or their amounts are re-estimated.
Physical model
A full-size wax model can be made to review scale, shape and proportions before production. It can be viewed in a showroom or shipped to you.
Approval and production
The design is approved before production begins. Your designer confirms the schedule, and our jewelers make, set and finish the piece.
Quality
Our custom jewelry follows design and construction standards for metal thickness, weight, stone support and setting security.
- Structure and support
- The setting must have enough metal to support the stones and hold its shape through everyday wear. If an area needs more support, we address it before production.
- Diamond and gemstone selection
- We help you choose stones for your custom design, reviewing cut, color, clarity, consistency and fit. Your budget guides these choices; our standards for materials and craftsmanship remain the same.
- Final inspection
- Before completion, we review each custom piece for proportion, comfort, stone security and finish.

Coverage conditions
For Joseph Jewelry custom pieces, coverage begins with your signature. To keep it active, Joseph Jewelry must inspect and sign for your piece every six months and perform recommended repairs and maintenance.
Repairs due to normal wear and tear are the owner's responsibility. Damage, abuse or alterations can void coverage. Customers outside Washington pay shipping both ways for inspections or repairs, plus applicable duty or customs fees.
