Large Diamonds and Halos
Five round brilliant cut diamonds are held in six prong settings in the middle section of this band, and they’re evenly spaced all the way around with the exception of a blank spot at the bottom. Each of these is surrounded by a halo of round bright cut set diamonds, and slightly smaller round diamonds are prong set in the space between each halo.
Diamond and Milgrain Accents
Narrow rails border the center section that contains the larger diamonds and their halos, and these rails are also lined with round bright cut set diamonds. Milgrain beading frames the diamonds on the rails, bringing a wonderful vintage flair to the piece and helping to give the ring a nice finished look.
Customization Options
If you’d like to take this piece even further in the vintage direction, you could switch to rose gold for the metal to add it’s warmth as well as a lovely contrast with the brilliant white of the diamonds. Alternately, you may want to eliminate the milgrain beading and use a channel setting on the rails rather than the bright cut to introduce some more contemporary themes.
