Women's Wedding Ring Description

This elegant women’s anniversary band features four overlapping strands lined with small split prong set diamonds on the white gold split shank. It was created for a client from Seattle, WA as a special gift he wanted to give his wife for their fifth wedding anniversary. He came to us with a few examples of the kind of design he liked, and we went over the various options in terms of layout and pricing with him so that he could make the most informed decision possible about the finished piece. He got the custom design process started by visiting our Bellevue, WA showroom in person to discuss his ideas with our team. With the information he provided on that visit, we developed a unique ring design in CAD, and we shared these proofs with him through the online workroom we set up to manage his project. He worked back and forth with our design team through this platform to finalize the details of the ring, and he also came back in to discuss certain aspects in more detail.

Overlapping Strand Design

At the bottom, the band of this ring is a solid piece and relatively narrow. It begins to widen almost immediately, and the first split occurs about one-quarter of the way up each side. This divides the band into two equal pieces, and these continue along divergent paths. They also each split again a bit higher up, with the strand on the left going first. The four strands that form as a result of this process curve outward a bit more before angling back in to cross over each other in pairs at the very top of the ring. The two strands on the left arch up higher, passing above the two coming from the left, which continue across to meet their equivalents on the other side of the band.

Split Prong Set Diamonds

All four strands are lined with split prong set small round diamonds, which adds a brilliant sparkle and truly glamorous look to the design. The beauty of the diamonds is enhanced by the silvery shine of the 14k gold they’re set in, and their presence helps to highlight the elegant movement of the strands and the intricacy of the design.
