Custom Hand Engraved Wedding Band
Item #103286 $5,115Women's Wedding Ring Description
To begin the custom design process, the couple came into our Bellevue, WA showroom personally to share their vision for the set they wanted to create. Once we had learned as much as possible about their style and feature preferences, we developed CAD models of their rings as we proposed to build them. The clients were very happy with these, and we continued to communicate online throughout the production process to ensure that the engraving on both pieces was exactly what they had in mind. Hand Engraving and Milgrain
A swirling scroll pattern is hand-engraved all the way around the top of this band. The fronts are also engraved with a complementary pattern that was modified to fit in the space available, and both of these designs match the engraving on the client’s existing engagement ring.
This band is 4mm wide and 2mm thick at its thickest point, which makes it substantially narrower than the matching men’s band that we made for this couple at the same time. However, the fact that we used the same inspiration to develop the engraved pattern on both pieces creates a clear link between the two despite the way they were each adapted to the available space. Women’s Custom Wedding Bands
On both rings, the engraving on the top surface is framed by delicate milgrain beading to add a bit of vintage flair. And both rings are made from 14k rose gold, which creates another subtle connection between them.
Customization Options
If you’re interested in a ring like this but want to adjust it to reflect your personal style, there are many options to consider. For instance, because our master engraver completes all of these details by hand, you can customize the design on your piece to a great degree. You may also want to think about using a different type of metal such as white or yellow gold, and you could eliminate the milgrain to create a more contemporary style if that’s the look you’re after.
Customizing This Design
Any Joseph Jewelry item can be customized or used as the starting point for a new custom design. The gemstones, metal, proportions, setting style, surface details, and overall profile can be adjusted to better match your preferences, style, and budget.
Every custom piece begins with a conversation about what you want to create and what matters most to you. You work one-on-one with a designer to refine the concept, review the design direction, and create a detailed 3D CAD image of the item before it is made.
After the design is approved, we can create a wax model so you can review the piece physically. This step helps you evaluate scale, proportions, shape, and overall presence before final production begins.
Once the wax model is approved, our jewelers craft the finished piece with attention to structure, finish, stone security, and long-term wear. Each adjustment is reviewed carefully so the final item feels intentional, balanced, and made specifically for you.
You do not need to have every detail figured out before starting. If you like this item but want to change the stone, metal, size, shape, width, engraving, or overall style, we can guide those decisions through the custom design process.
Quality & Craftsmanship
At Joseph Jewelry, quality begins with the structure. We follow strict design and construction standards for metal thickness, weight, stone support, setting security, and long-term durability. These details help ensure the item is substantial enough for everyday wear while still maintaining a refined appearance.
We do not design custom jewelry to be unnecessarily thin or fragile. If a setting, band, gallery, or accent detail needs more support, we address it before production begins. The goal is to protect the stones, preserve the shape of the ring, and create a piece that can be worn confidently over time.
Gemstone selection is also part of our quality process. We help choose the center stone, side stones, and melee diamonds used in each ring, reviewing them for cut, color, clarity, consistency, and how well they fit the design. Even when a ring is designed around a specific budget, we maintain careful standards for the materials and craftsmanship that determine the quality of the finished piece.
Before completion, each custom piece is reviewed for proportion, comfort, stone security, finishing, and long-term wear.
Care & Warranty
All Joseph Jewelry custom pieces are supported by our lifetime warranty. We also provide long-term care, including complimentary cleaning and regular inspection, so your jewelry can be maintained properly over time.
Routine inspection is especially valuable for pieces worn every day. It allows the setting, stones, and overall structure to be checked as the jewelry is worn.
