This stunning engagement band features white and fancy colored diamonds arranged in a pattern along with blue sapphires, all of which are micro pave set across the top of the platinum band. It was created as a custom piece for a client, who came to us with a clear idea of the design he wanted. Galaxy Design and Gemstone Selection
The various gemstones in this ring are laid out in a particular pattern to produce a image of our galaxy that the client provided. The gemstones include 140 white diamonds, 56 blue sapphires, and various other blue, orange, and yellow diamonds. The precise pattern was a detail with special meaning for the client, and it makes for a truly unique piece as well. Women’s Custom Wedding Bands
The gemstones are all round and approximately the same size. They’re pave set to minimize the amount of metal that shows between them, and they’re generally arranged in four staggered rows. The band itself is made of platinum, and narrow rails run along either side of the gemstone section, producing a subtle framing effect.

If you’re interested in customizing this piece, you may want to experiment with combining different colors of gemstones into a design with special meaning for you. 3D design review
After you accept the estimate and make a down payment, we create a 3D CAD model and rendered views. Revisions within the initial design parameters are included; changes to materials or their amounts are re-estimated.
Physical model
A full-size wax model can be made to review scale, shape and proportions before production. It can be viewed in a showroom or shipped to you.
Approval and production
The design is approved before production begins. Your designer confirms the schedule, and our jewelers make, set and finish the piece.
Quality
Our custom jewelry follows design and construction standards for metal thickness, weight, stone support and setting security.

- The setting must have enough metal to support the stones and hold its shape through everyday wear. If an area needs more support, we address it before production.
- Diamond and gemstone selection
- We help you choose stones for your custom design, reviewing cut, color, clarity, consistency and fit. Your budget guides these choices; our standards for materials and craftsmanship remain the same.

- Before completion, we review each custom piece for proportion, comfort, stone security and finish.

Coverage conditions
For Joseph Jewelry custom pieces, coverage begins with your signature. To keep it active, Joseph Jewelry must inspect and sign for your piece every six months and perform recommended repairs and maintenance.
Repairs due to normal wear and tear are the owner's responsibility. Damage, abuse or alterations can void coverage. Customers outside Washington pay shipping both ways for inspections or repairs, plus applicable duty or customs fees.
