Custom Sterling Silver Band
Item #1244 $2,774Women's Wedding Ring Description
Hand Engraving and Black Antiquing
Each side of this ring holds a slightly different design hand-engraved along it, and these all share an overarching floral theme. One side features a collection of leaves, while the other depicts a vine with leaves and flowers. At the top, a single large flower sits in the middle, with wavy lines extending out from it on either side.
These designs all held particular meaning for the client, and we developed them based on their input. In order to make the patterns stand out more clearly, they were treated with black antiquing, which sits down in the grooves and clarifies the lines of the design. Hand Engraving
Band Design and Customization Options
The band itself is made of sterling silver, and its slightly domed shape works well with the organic themes expressed in the engraving. It’s relatively wide for a women’s wedding ring in order to accommodate the type of hand engraving the clients preferred and to allow the design to be sufficiently detailed. The band width is something you can adjust, however, depending on your personal tastes, and the width you choose will also determine how the engraved pattern is distributed. Of course, another option for customization would be to rework the engraving so that it reflects something of personal significance to you, and you can experiment with different types of metal as well to help you get just the look you’re after.
Customizing This Design
Any Joseph Jewelry item can be customized or used as the starting point for a new custom design. The gemstones, metal, proportions, setting style, surface details, and overall profile can be adjusted to better match your preferences, style, and budget.
Every custom piece begins with a conversation about what you want to create and what matters most to you. You work one-on-one with a designer to refine the concept, review the design direction, and create a detailed 3D CAD image of the item before it is made.
After the design is approved, we can create a wax model so you can review the piece physically. This step helps you evaluate scale, proportions, shape, and overall presence before final production begins.
Once the wax model is approved, our jewelers craft the finished piece with attention to structure, finish, stone security, and long-term wear. Each adjustment is reviewed carefully so the final item feels intentional, balanced, and made specifically for you.
You do not need to have every detail figured out before starting. If you like this item but want to change the stone, metal, size, shape, width, engraving, or overall style, we can guide those decisions through the custom design process.
Quality & Craftsmanship
At Joseph Jewelry, quality begins with the structure. We follow strict design and construction standards for metal thickness, weight, stone support, setting security, and long-term durability. These details help ensure the item is substantial enough for everyday wear while still maintaining a refined appearance.
We do not design custom jewelry to be unnecessarily thin or fragile. If a setting, band, gallery, or accent detail needs more support, we address it before production begins. The goal is to protect the stones, preserve the shape of the ring, and create a piece that can be worn confidently over time.
Gemstone selection is also part of our quality process. We help choose the center stone, side stones, and melee diamonds used in each ring, reviewing them for cut, color, clarity, consistency, and how well they fit the design. Even when a ring is designed around a specific budget, we maintain careful standards for the materials and craftsmanship that determine the quality of the finished piece.
Before completion, each custom piece is reviewed for proportion, comfort, stone security, finishing, and long-term wear.
Care & Warranty
All Joseph Jewelry custom pieces are supported by our lifetime warranty. We also provide long-term care, including complimentary cleaning and regular inspection, so your jewelry can be maintained properly over time.
Routine inspection is especially valuable for pieces worn every day. It allows the setting, stones, and overall structure to be checked as the jewelry is worn.
