You can get the custom design process started by visiting us in person in our Bellevue, WA showroom or by reaching out online. We create highly-detailed CAD models of every custom piece we make, and reviewing these will give you the opportunity to make sure every detail is perfect before you give your approval to move things into production.
Channel Set Diamonds
There are 41 diamonds in this ring, and they’re all princess cut and channel set. They’re arranged in a line that continues all the way around the ring, making it an eternity band. The eternity design represents an everlasting love and an unbroken bond, which makes it a popular choice for both wedding and anniversary bands. Contrasting Finishes
While there’s not much contrast between the color of the metal and the gemstones in this ring, the two sections of metal have different textures that bring a more subtle type of contrast to the design. The wider portion of the band is brushed, creating a soft, matte surface, while the narrow rail on the other side of the diamonds is polished. The relationship between these two finishes and their placement on the band helps highlight the sparkle of the diamond, as well as the asymmetrical nature of the design.

3D design review
After you accept the estimate and make a down payment, we create a 3D CAD model and rendered views. Revisions within the initial design parameters are included; changes to materials or their amounts are re-estimated.
Physical model
A full-size wax model can be made to review scale, shape and proportions before production. It can be viewed in a showroom or shipped to you.
Approval and production
The design is approved before production begins. Your designer confirms the schedule, and our jewelers make, set and finish the piece.
Quality
Our custom jewelry follows design and construction standards for metal thickness, weight, stone support and setting security.
- Structure and support
- The setting must have enough metal to support the stones and hold its shape through everyday wear. If an area needs more support, we address it before production.
- Diamond and gemstone selection
- We help you choose stones for your custom design, reviewing cut, color, clarity, consistency and fit. Your budget guides these choices; our standards for materials and craftsmanship remain the same.
- Final inspection
- Before completion, we review each custom piece for proportion, comfort, stone security and finish.

Coverage conditions
For Joseph Jewelry custom pieces, coverage begins with your signature. To keep it active, Joseph Jewelry must inspect and sign for your piece every six months and perform recommended repairs and maintenance.
Repairs due to normal wear and tear are the owner's responsibility. Damage, abuse or alterations can void coverage. Customers outside Washington pay shipping both ways for inspections or repairs, plus applicable duty or customs fees.
