Facet Pave Set Diamonds
The diamonds in these earrings are all round and facet pave set. They combine to total 2.40 carats, and their brilliant sparkle thoroughly dominates the design, bringing a truly glamorous flair to the set.
The facet pave setting leaves very little metal showing around the stones, while the detail it adds to the sides of the earrings brings an intricacy and understated elegance to the set. Earring Design
The lines of diamond accents on these pieces are broken only by the finding at the top of the hoop and the joint at the bottom. These are both rotated slightly towards the back of the pieces to allow the diamonds to dominate from the head-on view, as they run down the front curve of the hoops.
Behind the joint on the back portion of each earring, the diamonds run up the inner surface rather than the outer, and this leaves them facing forward as well. Having all of the stones in these pieces visible from the front helps to enhance the classic elegance of the design.
