Carved Tahitian Pearls
The main body of each earring in this set is made up of a large, black Tahitian pearl that’s been carved to give it an ornate and organic look. Each pearl is 10mm in diameter, and this impressive size is a hallmark of the Tahitian variety of pearls, as is their rich, dark color. The size of the pearls also provides an excellent surface for carving, and the patterns included in this set add an ornate and organic quality to the overall design.
The pattern on each pearl is divided into two separate sections, with rounded steps on the top and a more floral-style pattern on the bottom. The bottom is also more substantial, while the step pattern narrows the top of each pearl, and that brings a satisfying balance to the design as well. Earrings
Earring Design and Diamond Accents
The top of each pearl connects to the white gold finding, and directly above this, a line of small round diamonds is bright cut set in a marquise shaped opening on the front of this finding. There are three of these accent diamonds on each earring, and they bring a touch of glamorous flair to the set. The choice of bright cut setting is a classical one, and this is just one example of the way this designer mixes innovative design with classical touches to produce a distinctive look.

Once the wax model is approved, our jewelers craft the finished piece with attention to structure, finish, stone security, and long-term wear. Each adjustment is reviewed carefully so the final item feels intentional, balanced, and made specifically for you.
You do not need to have every detail figured out before starting. If you like this item but want to change the stone, metal, size, shape, width, engraving, or overall style, we can guide those decisions through the custom design process.
