Carved Tahitian Pearls
Each earring in this set centers on a 9mm black Tahitian pearl that’s been carved in an organic-style pattern made up of wavy grooves and teardrop-shaped indentations. The combination of these creates a sense of flowing water and an overall natural feel that is a hallmark of pieces by this designer.
The Tahitian pearls used in this set are notable for their rich, dark color, with highlights of pink, green and gold. The carving helps to highlight this detail, adding another dimension to the design. Tahitian pearls are also generally larger than some other types, giving them a greater surface area for the full expression of detail in the carving.
Earring Design
The pearls in these earrings are connected to the findings by a cap of 14k white gold. The cap only covers a small portion on the top of each pearl, and it has an uneven edge reminiscent of a flower design. Once the wax model is approved, our jewelers craft the finished piece with attention to structure, finish, stone security, and long-term wear. Each adjustment is reviewed carefully so the final item feels intentional, balanced, and made specifically for you.
