14k Rose Gold Custom Diamond And Blue Sapphire Engagement Ring
Item #1212 $8,353 Price does not include center stoneEngagement Ring Description
Sapphire Center
The centerpiece of this ring is a 3.50 carat cushion cut blue sapphire, and it’s cradled in four platinum prongs that emerge from the rounded corners of the surrounding diamond halo. Although diamonds are generally considered the most traditional choice for the center stone in an engagement ring, sapphires have been used extensively in this role as well, and this particular stone exhibits a rich blue color that contrasts nicely with the silvery shine of the platinum it’s set in. Diamond Halo and Accents
A contoured halo of bright cut set diamonds surrounds the center sapphire, and bright cut set diamonds line the sides of the halo all the way around. They also continue down both shank shoulders, tapering in size along with the band until they stop at the mid-point on the sides. Additional diamond accents run along this same segment of the band on both ring fronts, and they continue across the bridge piece that connects one side of the band to the other by passing directly below the main setting. Milgrain and Filigree
Milgrain beading lines all rows of accent diamonds, including those in the halo, and it lines the custom filigree below the center sapphire on the ring fronts. This intensifies the vintage look of the piece, and it brings a nice, finished feel to the design. The filigree in this piece is in a repeating V pattern, but it can be customized in a variety of ways to incorporate a symbol or shape with special significance to you and your partner.

Customizing This Design
Any Joseph Jewelry item can be customized or used as the starting point for a new custom design. The gemstones, metal, proportions, setting style, surface details, and overall profile can be adjusted to better match your preferences, style, and budget.
Every custom piece begins with a conversation about what you want to create and what matters most to you. You work one-on-one with a designer to refine the concept, review the design direction, and create a detailed 3D CAD image of the item before it is made.
After the design is approved, we can create a wax model so you can review the piece physically. This step helps you evaluate scale, proportions, shape, and overall presence before final production begins.
Once the wax model is approved, our jewelers craft the finished piece with attention to structure, finish, stone security, and long-term wear. Each adjustment is reviewed carefully so the final item feels intentional, balanced, and made specifically for you.
You do not need to have every detail figured out before starting. If you like this item but want to change the stone, metal, size, shape, width, engraving, or overall style, we can guide those decisions through the custom design process.
Quality & Craftsmanship
At Joseph Jewelry, quality begins with the structure. We follow strict design and construction standards for metal thickness, weight, stone support, setting security, and long-term durability. These details help ensure the item is substantial enough for everyday wear while still maintaining a refined appearance.
We do not design custom jewelry to be unnecessarily thin or fragile. If a setting, band, gallery, or accent detail needs more support, we address it before production begins. The goal is to protect the stones, preserve the shape of the ring, and create a piece that can be worn confidently over time.
Gemstone selection is also part of our quality process. We help choose the center stone, side stones, and melee diamonds used in each ring, reviewing them for cut, color, clarity, consistency, and how well they fit the design. Even when a ring is designed around a specific budget, we maintain careful standards for the materials and craftsmanship that determine the quality of the finished piece.
Before completion, each custom piece is reviewed for proportion, comfort, stone security, finishing, and long-term wear.
Care & Warranty
All Joseph Jewelry custom pieces are supported by our lifetime warranty. We also provide long-term care, including complimentary cleaning and regular inspection, so your jewelry can be maintained properly over time.
Routine inspection is especially valuable for pieces worn every day. It allows the setting, stones, and overall structure to be checked as the jewelry is worn.
