Description

It was created along with a wedding band for a client from Medina, WA, and its simple yet sophisticated design makes for a truly elegant look, particularly when the two pieces are worn together.

Center Diamond
The main stone in this ring is a 2.20 carat round brilliant cut diamond, and the four prong platinum setting holding it in place cradles it beautifully. The fronts of the setting are totally open, so the full brilliance of the diamond can really shine through, and the rounded prongs complement the shape of the stone nicely.
Diamonds are a popular and traditional choice for engagement rings for a number of reasons. They represent passionate love, purity, and faithfulness, and they’re also quite hard, which makes them able to handle the rigors of every day wear quite well. Diamond Engagement Rings
Diamond Accents and Shank Design
Pave set diamonds cover the shank of this ring, and they continue down to about the three quarter point on the band. This type of setting leaves little to no metal showing between the stones, making for a genuinely stunning display. Bright cut set diamond accents also line the bridge piece that crosses over below the main setting for a little added sparkle on the fronts of the ring.
The shank itself is tapered slightly as it rises up into the cathedral portion holding the main diamond, and this helps to make the center stone appear larger while also contributing to the overall elegance of the design.
