Description
This dazzling engagement ring features a princess cut diamond in a chevron prong setting, with bright cut set diamond accents in the gallery rail and pave set diamonds all the way around the shank. It was created for a client from San Jose, CA, who initially reached out to us through the Ring Builder feature on our website to share his vision.

After clarifying a few details in his request, we developed a unique design in CAD for him. He worked back and forth with our team online to ensure every detail was perfect, and we shipped him a wax model so that he could inspect it in person before giving his final approval to begin production. Center Setting and Gallery
At the top of this ring, a 1.72 carat princess cut diamonds sits in a platinum chevron prong setting. The client chose the chevron style based on our suggestion, as it helps to accentuate the angular nature of the princess cut stone. The client also supplied us with the center diamond, and he gave us the exact dimensions to begin the CAD process even before he’d shipped it to us. Princess Cut Engagement Rings
On the fronts of the ring, the center setting is open, with only a narrow rail running across between the prongs on each side and no metal at all directly below the diamond. The client really liked this open look, and he requested that we keep all metal parts of the main setting as thin as possible to make the overall appearance as delicate as possible. For some added sparkle, however the gallery rail is bright cut set with small round diamonds, and this only enhances the glamorous flair of the design. One of a Kind Engagement Rings
Diamond Accents
Starting just below the gallery rail, which is where the band begins to transition to the center setting, pave set round diamond accents cover both the top and fronts of the band. These continue all the way around, producing unparalleled sparkle and creating an eternity design that adds even greater meaning to such an already significant piece.

After you accept the estimate and make a down payment, we create a 3D CAD model and rendered views. Revisions within the initial design parameters are included; changes to materials or their amounts are re-estimated.
Physical model
A full-size wax model can be made to review scale, shape and proportions before production. It can be viewed in a showroom or shipped to you.
Approval and production
The design is approved before production begins. Your designer confirms the schedule, and our jewelers make, set and finish the piece.
Quality
Our custom jewelry follows design and construction standards for metal thickness, weight, stone support and setting security.

- The setting must have enough metal to support the stones and hold its shape through everyday wear. If an area needs more support, we address it before production.
- Diamond and gemstone selection
- We help you choose stones for your custom design, reviewing cut, color, clarity, consistency and fit. Your budget guides these choices; our standards for materials and craftsmanship remain the same.
- Final inspection
- Before completion, we review each custom piece for proportion, comfort, stone security and finish.

Coverage conditions
For Joseph Jewelry custom pieces, coverage begins with your signature. To keep it active, Joseph Jewelry must inspect and sign for your piece every six months and perform recommended repairs and maintenance.
Repairs due to normal wear and tear are the owner's responsibility. Damage, abuse or alterations can void coverage. Customers outside Washington pay shipping both ways for inspections or repairs, plus applicable duty or customs fees.
