Center Diamond
In the center of this ring, a one carat princess cut diamond is cradled by four platinum prongs that curve gently up from a spot on the band directly below the center of the stone. The prongs meet the diamond at its corners, simultaneously protecting them and accentuating the clean lines and sharp angles of the cut. Diamond Engagement Rings
Diamond Accents
Round diamonds are split prong set down both shank shoulders, with eight on each side. These end just beyond the mid-point on the band, which begins to taper at the same spot, eventually reaching its narrowest point across the bottom of the ring. The accent diamonds total 0.30 carats combined, and their gorgeous sparkle brings a distinctly glamorous flair to the design.
Customization Options
As you begin the custom design process, it’s helpful to keep in mind that even small changes can have a big impact on the overall look and feel of a finished piece. For instance, simply rotating the diamond at the top of this ring 45 degrees to place its points at the compass positions would give the ring a dramatically different aesthetic.
Replacing the center with a round or oval stone would have a similarly transformative impact, as would switching to yellow gold for the band rather than platinum. Another change to consider is using a different setting style for the accent diamonds, and no matter what you choose, our experts can give you an idea of what it will look like by modifying our CAD models of the design so you can make an informed decision on every detail before anything is cast in metal.

Once the wax model is approved, our jewelers craft the finished piece with attention to structure, finish, stone security, and long-term wear. Each adjustment is reviewed carefully so the final item feels intentional, balanced, and made specifically for you.
