14k Rose Gold Custom Solitaire Engagment Ring
Item #100685 $2,704 Price does not include center stoneEngagement Ring Description
Diamond Solitaire
The center diamond in this ring is a 1.59 carat round stone, whose natural beauty is only enhanced by the quality Star 129 cut. The technique used to shape this type of gem involves creating 129 precisely-placed facets in order to maximize the amount of light reflected back out. To put this in context, a standard round brilliant cut diamond has about 58 facets, and a princess cut averages around 76.
The elegance of this ring helps highlight the diamond’s natural beauty as well by placing it at the center of the classic solitaire design. Long a traditional favorite for engagement rings, the diamond solitaire carries with it overtones of everlasting romantic love, and it’s a wonderful way to represent the depth and purity of your relationship. Band Design
Adding to the elegance of this piece is the shape of the tapered cathedral shank, which rises to meet the side of the center diamond just as it narrows to a point. These ends of the shank shoulders lie between the two prongs on each side of the center stone, and the way they curve gently in right before meeting the main setting gives the impression that they’re helping to lift the diamond up and hold it out for all to see.
Custom Wedding Sets
Because you’re likely to wear your engagement ring and wedding band together for many years to come, it’s a good idea to have them made to match each other. Due to the nature of the custom design and production process, we recommend you have both pieces made at the same time, but we can also make a wedding band to match an engagement ring you already have. Matching Wedding Sets
This is true no matter what style you’re after or how clear of an idea you have of the kind of pieces you want, and thanks to the advanced technological tools we have at our disposal, we can collaborate with you in person in our Bellevue, WA showroom or online, whichever is most convenient for you.
Customizing This Design
Any Joseph Jewelry item can be customized or used as the starting point for a new custom design. The gemstones, metal, proportions, setting style, surface details, and overall profile can be adjusted to better match your preferences, style, and budget.
Every custom piece begins with a conversation about what you want to create and what matters most to you. You work one-on-one with a designer to refine the concept, review the design direction, and create a detailed 3D CAD image of the item before it is made.
After the design is approved, we can create a wax model so you can review the piece physically. This step helps you evaluate scale, proportions, shape, and overall presence before final production begins.
Once the wax model is approved, our jewelers craft the finished piece with attention to structure, finish, stone security, and long-term wear. Each adjustment is reviewed carefully so the final item feels intentional, balanced, and made specifically for you.
You do not need to have every detail figured out before starting. If you like this item but want to change the stone, metal, size, shape, width, engraving, or overall style, we can guide those decisions through the custom design process.
Quality & Craftsmanship
At Joseph Jewelry, quality begins with the structure. We follow strict design and construction standards for metal thickness, weight, stone support, setting security, and long-term durability. These details help ensure the item is substantial enough for everyday wear while still maintaining a refined appearance.
We do not design custom jewelry to be unnecessarily thin or fragile. If a setting, band, gallery, or accent detail needs more support, we address it before production begins. The goal is to protect the stones, preserve the shape of the ring, and create a piece that can be worn confidently over time.
Gemstone selection is also part of our quality process. We help choose the center stone, side stones, and melee diamonds used in each ring, reviewing them for cut, color, clarity, consistency, and how well they fit the design. Even when a ring is designed around a specific budget, we maintain careful standards for the materials and craftsmanship that determine the quality of the finished piece.
Before completion, each custom piece is reviewed for proportion, comfort, stone security, finishing, and long-term wear.
Care & Warranty
All Joseph Jewelry custom pieces are supported by our lifetime warranty. We also provide long-term care, including complimentary cleaning and regular inspection, so your jewelry can be maintained properly over time.
Routine inspection is especially valuable for pieces worn every day. It allows the setting, stones, and overall structure to be checked as the jewelry is worn.
