This beautiful engagement ring features an Asscher cut diamond center, a floral double halo, Celtic knot filigree designs in a split shank, and an overall vintage-inspired look. It was created for a client from Denham Springs, LA, and based off of one of our estate ring designs.

The client wanted to incorporate Celtic designs, so our designer proposed a split shank with the filigree knot in the middle. In addition, our designer created two versions of the design to help the client decide between Asscher cut, radiant cut, and emerald cut. Our custom design process allows you to make unlimited changes to the design at no additional cost, so you receive the exact ring you've been dreaming of. Design Your Own Engagement Ring
Center Diamond and Halo Design
The center of this ring is a .90 carat Asscher cut diamond. The Asscher diamond is perfectly framed by double halos with a halo of bright cut diamonds, then milgrain, then a polished lip, and then more bright cut set diamonds in a petal shape with milgrain around the edges. These layered halos allow the center diamond to stand out as much as possible while still incorporating a floral vintage look.
Celtic Knots
The incorporation of a Celtic design was very important to the client. There are several traditional knot designs, and the designer chose the knot that fit best within the split shank. The filigree was hand-folded and sautered into place by our experienced bench jewelers. The knots add a unique and personal touch to the design. Celtic Rings

There are several ways this design could be customized. The first would be to change the Celtic knot. Another option would be to incorporate blue sapphires, as they would contribute to the overall vintage aesthetic that this ring exudes. 3D design review
After you accept the estimate and make a down payment, we create a 3D CAD model and rendered views. Revisions within the initial design parameters are included; changes to materials or their amounts are re-estimated.
Physical model
A full-size wax model can be made to review scale, shape and proportions before production. It can be viewed in a showroom or shipped to you.
Approval and production
The design is approved before production begins. Your designer confirms the schedule, and our jewelers make, set and finish the piece.
Quality
Our custom jewelry follows design and construction standards for metal thickness, weight, stone support and setting security.
- Structure and support
- The setting must have enough metal to support the stones and hold its shape through everyday wear. If an area needs more support, we address it before production.
- Diamond and gemstone selection
- We help you choose stones for your custom design, reviewing cut, color, clarity, consistency and fit. Your budget guides these choices; our standards for materials and craftsmanship remain the same.
- Final inspection
- Before completion, we review each custom piece for proportion, comfort, stone security and finish.

Coverage conditions
For Joseph Jewelry custom pieces, coverage begins with your signature. To keep it active, Joseph Jewelry must inspect and sign for your piece every six months and perform recommended repairs and maintenance.
Repairs due to normal wear and tear are the owner's responsibility. Damage, abuse or alterations can void coverage. Customers outside Washington pay shipping both ways for inspections or repairs, plus applicable duty or customs fees.
