This beautiful custom engagement ring features an oval diamond in a solitaire setting with hand engraving and milgrain. It was created for a client from Bellevue, WA, who had an idea of the design they wanted. Design Your Own Engagement Ring

The client visited our showroom in Bellevue, WA, knowing they wanted an oval diamond in a simple setting. After browsing the various designs on display, they chose a solitaire ring to customize.

Solitaire Style

This ring is considered a solitaire because there is only one diamond set in it. The oval diamond is held by four claw prongs in a traditional head, elevating the diamond above the band. This elevation allows for a future wedding ring to sit almost flush with the engagement ring. The oval diamond is lab grown and weighs around 2 carats. Solitaire Engagement Rings

Hand Engraving

The engraving on this ring is all done by hand by our expert jewelers in Bellevue, WA. The fronts are engraved with a half wheat pattern and the top of the band is engraved with a wheat pattern. The sections are highlighted by milgrain in between them. The bottom third of the ring was left polished to allow for future sizing, if necessary. Hand Engraving

Customization

This ring can be customized in many different ways. You could add a hidden halo underneath the center oval diamond. Another way to add sparkle would be diamonds bright cut set down the shoulders of the ring with engraving still on the fronts. Changing the metal to rose gold or yellow gold would add a more antique aesthetic.
